Yeah, or 2 zip ties instead of one, one round the bridge and one through the other.

Is there a way of blocking images of children from your computer, specifically facebook? If I see any more pictures of my cousin's kids I think I'm going to puke. I heard the govt might be working on something like this, will it help?

Confused:
I have used the same computer at work for the past 2 years and now when I plug headphones in to eiother the front or rear headphone jack it continues to play msuic from the onboard speakers while also playing music through the headphones. What's going on?Same headphones? Normally it relies on the plug either pushing some contacts together or bridging them to send a signal to the OS. Either something's broken that mechanism or some kind of OS update or software install has interfered with how that signal is handled.
I tried 3 pairs of headphones. Same problem with each. No change of audio drivers, or OS version (still on XP here) as far as I am aware.
This is weird. When I mute the sound by clicking on the speaker symbol in the Notification Area of the XP task bar I can still get audio out of headphones, but not from the computer's onboard speakers.
Problem solved, although still very confused.

I'm exploring the possibility of building up a fixed TT bike and want to match my current TT bike's geometry but all the cheap track frames I'm finding are too "short and high". Can anyone recommend me any frames with a "long and low" geometry? My current frame has a stack of c.533mm and a reach of c.431mm.
This build will also be severely budget limited so I'm looking for something as cheap as possible.

How about running a cheap or second hand TT frame fixed?

What's the average hourly rate for a freelance designer in London? It's for a fairly simple direct marketing project that I need to allocate money in my budget for.

I've no problem with going 2nd hand at all I think my requirements are that it's cheap, I can match my position, it has horizontal drop outs (so I don't have to faff with magic gear or eccentric hub/bb) and that it runs 700c front and back.
The problem with older frames is that it's hard to find geometry info, so most of my searching so far has been restricted to modern models whose geometry charts are readily available.

Depends on level/experience.

Click on the 'per day' tab, and divide by seven or eight for an hour rate.

Did someone say they were in charge of budget commissioning design work and could do with a freelance designer?

Hello circling vulture, nice to see you. It's not for ages yet but yes I am in charge of a budget commissioning design work, and yes I have your number.

Don't hire him - Hire me.
I have no experience, and I'm generally very lazy, to the point I doubt I will even show up.
However, I can write my name in snow, and will draw a crude representation of a cock on pretty much anything.

Do I have to pay your hourly rate even when you're sitting at home in your pants kneading bread and watching youtube videos of swing dancers?

I'm on Lfgss and I have a camera, does that mean I'm also a graphic designer?
-
• #51643
No, at best that makes you a production designer. To be a graphic designer, you'd have to have your own box of crayons.

I have crayons and a ruler, therefore I'm a graphic engineer

Can anyone please confirm what threading this frame bb is? (via the medium of phone pictures)

DS - http://i.imgur.com/ZWlGbAJ.jpgI was pretty sure its Italian, but after staring at it for ten minutes I've changed my mind as many times.

Do you have a bb? What threading is it? Does it fit? If so that's the threading. If not, it's probably the other.
(Unless it's a Raleigh or Carlton which have their own stupid threading)

Forgot to say, I can also use photoshop. Not just effects, but layers and everything.

I have a rainbow in my tummy

Yep, I was thinking just a nut and bolt through the brake hole
