That would be pretty much all of them, then. Chainline and chainring spacing varies very little between road cranks, most of them will work fine with most front dérailleurs of similar vintage.
But if you have Campag cranks with a Shimano drivetrain the world will explode.
Or it might not, but it won't look right.

Dura Ace 7700 Shimano's best-looking groupset ever (?) or left field FRM CU2 cranks ..

Not feeling the FRM's, so now I need to find a NOS 7700 groupset- which brings up the thorny question of wheels...

question from a friend:
'When you've got a minute can you do me a favour?
I'm trying to find a kickstand for Lorna's bike, it has this plate on the chain stay, that's got two (M5?) holes 40mm apart.
But I can't find any sort of stand that would fit there, checked Evans, Edinburgh Cycle Coop, Halfords etc...
Any idea what is it/could you post somewhere to find someone that does?

What are those little round dome things you stick on the edge of cabinets to soften the noise the doors make when you close them?
-
• #51164
Thanks.
Round bumps, what an annoying name. Googling yields more skin diseases than anything else.

Our resident parking slips fell down the dash. That blue thing and the thing under it.
Is there any chance of appealing the parking fine we've just received? -

Is there any chance of appealing the parking fine we've just received? Is there a cost to appeal? If not then I'd go for it- you had the permit, but were failing (unintentionally) to display it.
I reckon they'll throw it out, but there's no harm trying?

Patent troll trying to shake down Garmin, see http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b038c8s4 and http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23673383 for a primer on patent trolls if you aren't across this particular form of extortion yet.

westone UM3X RC in-ear monitors. Has anyone used these and can comment on fit and comfort? Seems to be the most common comment about them. Given that they are 300 notes I'm a bit cautious before buying. Thanks!

Just spilt my golden grahams and cheerios all over the bedroom floor, it's proper wood floor with gaps between the planks... Any idea how I can make it so the room doesn't stink of gone off milk? Quite a bit of it sunk into the gaps and I can't get to it....
The only issue I can think of would be that your frame and fork might hit the larger pads if its a really tight fit. I'd just go with what you already have - if its not broken... etc...
