Oh Bready, have you even check the whole specification?
If you were to believed the specification, it got a steel frame and fork, have a quill stem, a 1" threaded headset, pairs of brakes...
ok so they're even bigger fuck ups then :P

I'm thinking about buying a Merckx Corsa Extra Columbus SLX Frame and fitting with modern compenents.
How will this ride compared to:
(1) A modernish carbon frame (my current roadbike is a 2009 Cannodale Synapse)?
(2) A good modern steel frame
?

1) worse
2) worse
;)
It'll be a lot less stiff than either but it'll be fine. Quite possibly delightful, even. The big difference with modern bikes is high-speed descending, they tend to be much more composed. Older steel (even some modern steel tbh) can get a bit hairy.

and their answer was... "the posted spec is correct"
well it might be if it wasn't the spec for the fuji feather.
ffs they also answered another guys q asking why it says 1" headset when it has an ahead stem and they said not only was it 1" it has a quill stem as well.
beggars belief.

It is, it's odd that when I was going to submit my details, it show up all your.
-
• #43211
Why has this not sold ? Any ideas?
Because it's too expensive.
lower the price to £300 and people might buy it.
£500 is unreasonable for a low-end Bianchi frame with low-end groupset.
-
• #43212
If it were Centaur with SL or SLX tubing, then £500 might be slightly teensy weensy bit reasonable.
-
• #43213
this^ plus it looks like u have being doing daul slalom judging by the pedals and may have twisted da frame =0)

I posted Fuji's spec and asked them if they change the spec from the factory

just had my answer to my question calling them out approved and then one minute later rejected.
"I asked this question and frankly i think the answer evans has given is wrong... the description says "The Fuji Track 1.1 2013 Track Bikes A6-SL aero tubing, carbon track fork, forged dropouts, and a Truvativ Omnium super-stiff crankset – with a 144 mm bolt pattern" which is inline with the manufacturers own stated specification on their website. but the product details matrix says something completely different. not even the frame material is the same. and in fact if you look at the fuji feather 2013 this is in fact the specification for that bike instead. so it is completely wrong. it might be an idea to update this listing with the correct specification and not just make assumptions (see also the other guys question about the 1" stem to which the answer is also completely wrong)."

The thing with those Evans Q/A thing is no one is actually "answering" them, it can be a guy at the shop bored with nothing to do, or actually someone answering them without realising it.
Sometime the answer varies from staff to staff.
Your answer is still there.

Center of crank to top of seat tube= 56cm.
Top tube =54 cm
Down tube = 62cm
Head tube =13cmThe bianchi frame size :) just double checked so are precise.
At 6'4" would this be an frame for my size guys ? If so I could be tempted for the right price Gino

Too small for you.
May I ask why you didn't have the Moda Forte in your list?
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/moda/forte-2013-track-bike-ec044911#features
You don't even need to change anything for the track.
