I forgot gloves today and my hands are still not happy with me

An update on my gloves, for anyone remotely interested in my “scientific” experiments. After washing and drying my gloves, I put them in the freezer. I then forgot about them, thought I’d lost them and bought some new ones. In the meantime, a friend came to stay and yesterday found the gloves and thinks I have dementia or something. The gloves have been thawed and I can report SUCCESS! After 2 weeks in the freezer, they no longer smell - AND I have new gloves! Win all round.

Just in time for spring…

I'm in need of a halfway house pair of gloves- yesterday I lost feeling in my fingertips, but then they came back in the second half of the ride.

I have a holiday related question,

me and my GF want to go away somewhere in early june/end of may, cheap and quiet are out main desires, my worst nightmare is a huge resort where thers 600 people by the pool all day everday,

I can deal with a busy hotel pool area but peace over party please.

We have a budget of 400 each, probably up to 900 in total if we were to go all inclusive, destination not fussed, just somewhere relaxing.. 7 nights..

That's amazing. The last time I ever flew with Ryanair they were closing the gate 30min before takeoff, about the same time I would normally arrive at the airport when flying with any other airline, which would give me plenty of time for a drink or two before boarding.

My favourite bit was when I remembered my hand luggage contained my washbag, with all over 100ml toiletries. There was a woman before security who checked my ticket, asked me if I had any liquids. I run off, shouting that I don't, then suddenly remember and shout, "Shit! Yes I do!" I run back to her, ask what to do, she hands me a bin, I throw the whole thing in there, then run off yelling back, "No time, no time!!" while flailing my arms around.
