Where can I pick up a UN55 in store today that price matches?
-
• #41353
Condor normally have in stock and the BB isn't that pricey.

Will BC face my BB shell on the spot on a Thursday evening/Saturday morning or will I need to book it in?
If you can get to Bicycle Workshop in Notting Hill Saturday at around 7.30 am they'll probably be able to do it for you on the day.
Give em a ring to check first though.

Can anyone recommend a cheap digital watch with a split lap timer(?)?
Basically I want to have an alarm go off every 2 mins. If that makes sense.
Cheers.

I just received a Hope seat clamp from Wiggle, and it's scratched - looks like the clamp has been fitted (awkwardly) to a bike in the past.
Doesn't affect the function of the item obviously.
I'm on the fence as to whether this winds me up. Should I return it? I kinda expect new items to look new. First scratch should be my doing.

What size bearings to Time ATAC XS take? I've managed to seriously deform one of them in a crash, and no-one seems to know what bearings they need.

Moan about it but don't return it. I received a scratched up rim from CRC after waiting for it to come in stock for 3weeks. They gave me a shitty voucher that expired before I could afford to use it on anything useful.

Not sure the expedition ones have the interval training timer. The Ebay one only has a 10 lap memory. Are you using it for running? Mine has a 100 lap memory. Once you start using the memory, you fill it pretty quickly.
30 is a nice minimum.
http://burasi.co.uk/index.php?i=B000JNJLXAI'm also a fan of velcro straps. Hate having a watch too tight or too loose when running.

I mainly want to use it for skipping. 2mins skipping, 1 mins of press-ups/similar. Maybe also some running.
I never really considered how many I'd need. If you wanted 2min, 1min, 2min, 1min, etc. would you just need two and reset?

Ideas on price? £17 from CRC, £22 from Evans. Somewhere in between would be nice.
-

I think the easiest is to check stock on the Evans or CS websites and then go and price match the one nearest you.
Condor tend to price their everyday parts well imo, so if you called them I doubt there would be much of a difference.

Return it, check their site, you don't have to pay for anything, the postage is free as long as you take it to one of their many thousands of return points (local shops). The only reason not to return it is if you need it today.

OK It currently has a Shimano SG 52t A on the outer but I'm still none the wiser as to what the difference is and can I just replace it for a second hand with matching teeth and bcd?
cb, i won't ignore you..
If you have a triple, then the http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/shimano-fc-2303-130mm-pcd-5-arm-chainring-silver-prod26229/ is the one to go for
but like you say, if the complete crankset is £50, save yourself the bother.
get a new chain as well

Ha ta. The problem is 50 quid for this means 50 less to spend on my next.

That's the way the Gymboss works, unfortunately you can only set 2 intervals but that's usually more than enough. So in your case you would have a 2 min, and 1 min interval. Which repeats up to 100 times as far as I recall. You can also set it to just vibrate if the beeping annoys you.

I am currently waiting for a package from the US and a package from SJS Cycles.
When I got home there was a Red Card of Missed You (RCMY), which stated that a signature was required for the parcel that they had tried to deliver.
Would SJS have used registered, signed for mail for a pair of Praxis Chainrings?
-
• #41372
Quite likely, I expect, like other shops, that they used recorded when the value is above the compensation limit for normal postage.
-
• #41373
ProBikeKit sent me a £250 pair of handlebars in the normal post, as did CRC, is why I ask.
-
• #41374
That's because they're cheap moneygrabbng turds. SJS+Merlin>CRC
-
• #41375
Fair enough. I did pay SJS for postage.
Which leads to the question- where the fuck are my new cranks USPS?
I've found I can get the whole crankset for 50 quid brand new so unless I can't get a replacement ring for £3 I might as well buy the lot.
