I'd go for a combo... and perhaps throw in a kidney punch™ for the win.

Punch yourself in the nuts.
Pics or it didn't happen. -

If I punch myself in the face, repeatedly, will it be more or less fun than kicking myself in the nuts?
More.
Getting hit in the nuts is never fun.

I'm sure Paligap or somewhere else used to offer an upgrade for a wired SL+ Powertap hub to wireless for £80 for hub only. I was always put off because of the price of the wireless computers (no interest in ANT+) so just wanted the Joule or whatever.
I've managed to nab a cheap wireless computer, but now I come to look, I can't see to find anywhere offering the upgrade. Am I too late/shit out of luck?

It's more of a cheeky heel flick, but is doable, if not advisable.

reed switch?!? that's a bit old hat; one would hope that any recent devices employ hall effect technology
Reed switches are cheap, robust (mechanically and electromagnetically), accurate, and simple to interface to the electronics (no amplifiers, "signal conditioning" is a simple debouncer). If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Maybe, but the implied load for a larger rack like that might not make it a very good idea. You could drill out the mounting hole to fit the front axle.
Ok then is this rack compatible with these forks? It has drilling at the back for a mudguard I presume.

Wired to Wireless upgrade costs ~£450.
The £80 you are thinking of is the ANT+ updater which is a single-use device that updates their older wireless hubs to ANT+ so they can be used with ANT+ HR and cadence sensors.

Thanks! They don't show up on the BC club finder so hadn't considered CC Hackney yet. Does anyone on here ride with them?

Can anyone recommend a cheap digital watch with a split lap timer(?)?
Basically I want to have an alarm go off every 2 mins. If that makes sense.
Cheers.

anyone?
I don't know about carbon, would stick to steel for a load carrying fork.
