(Resisting urge to make jokes about 57 inch bike)
With some seatpost showing and a long stem it should be alright. I'm 6'2" and have a 58cm bike which is just about alright, with a longer stem.
It depends on your proportions, top tube length etc as well though. I have short-ish legs and a longer torso. Just ride it and see!

Is it possible to buy brake pads/shoes that look like those on the top left set for a reasonable price? They don't have to be NOS Campag.
I've just got a Mirage Monoplanar brake which needs new pads, and it would be nice to have fancy old-looking pads.

I'm around 6'2" and have just bought a 57" Bianchi road bike. Will it be too small? I don't mind it being a bit more of an aggressive riding position as long as' its not far too small.
I'd say yes.
57cm to top or on centre?
Top tube length is more important really IMO and the length you need depends on your torso not height.
I'm 6'2" and I ride a 58/59 on centre with a 57 top tube and a 120 stem- but that's me. -

No way to say without trying, really unless you know how you fit another bike with similar geometry and size. I'm 6'6" and am perfectly comfortable on my 56cm Look, 58cm Cervelo and 60cm Van Nicholas. And, the Look has a stem 4cm shorter than the Cervelo!

It's my first road bike so I'm testing the water as such.
I have a 59cm steel frame on my fixed gear, and I'd say it's slightly on the big side.
I'll have a look at spaces and stuff and take it into Evans to see what they think.
Thanks for help.

What's your inseam? I'm 6'2", too, and my inseam is 36", which means that for me a 57cm bike is too small. I have one, anyway, which just about works with a long stem and a saddle quite high up, but I'm certainly more comfortable on my 60 or 61cm-framed bikes.

At what point is it required to replace cycling clothing?
My jersey armpits smell like plain Doritos (if only they were sharkpits) and my gloves, well...
That palm vent is not a design feature.
Any recommended padded half-finger gloves? They're SO expensive here I think I may order from Wiggle.

Have you tried washing it?

My force front mech wont stay out to the right, meaning I cant change from the small to big chainring.
What have I done wrong and how do I fix it?
Thnx

No but thanks for the idea!
I only hand-washed the jersey but I ran it through a machine and it's a lot better now. Gloves are knackered though. How long do they generally last people? Because they're rather too expensive to be 'consumables'...

Adjusting the cable tension could do it?

glove-wear depends on mileage and stuff like how grippy your bars are, all sorts of stuff, but I think a couple of years is normal. less than a season I would be disappoint.

My gloves have a perpetual odour, irrespective of washing

Are there aero levers available (shiftless) that have those nice flat hood sections like some of the better integrated units? I'm just attempting to ride with drops after a decade hiatus, and would like to give myself every comfortable advantage.

Or the Cane Creek ones, like I'm selling cheaply...

I always assume that when I write "Tektro", people will read "Cane Creek" too :-)
