I'd just go for 'openness'. Keep it simple. You're referring back to the previous sentence and there's no need to move the understanding of education on by means of a novel word. I'd also re-phrase 'the spaces designed around education'--what does it refer to? Theories or actual teaching spaces?
You have ponds where you work? How cool is that?

What are the correct pronunciations of Miche and Mavic?
I'd always pronounced them Meesh and Mavich until someone pointed out that they were Italian and French respectively, and suggested they should pe pronounced like meekay and maveek. How do you pronounce them?
While we're at it, Sugino. Suh-jee-no?

Miche - My/shay.
Mavic - May/vice.
Sugino - Pot/ato.

Which are the best canti brakes,I would like to spend less than £50 but could be persuaded to spend up to £100 if necessary. It is for my everyday commuter racks, guards etc. Are Frogglegs any good or are they just something else with a good name?

An h in Italian usually changes the preceding consonant into a hard sound.
Cinelli = ch sound
Miche = k sound -

Tektro imo are the best value for money out there. Very easy to set up and I've not had one fail on me since I started using them almost 10yrs ago.
^ so Miche = Mike.

Cha-nel-ee?

^^
Curious OS, I have been specifically advised to avoid tektro due to them being a pain to set up. -

Frog Leggs were easy enough to set up and I'd never setup a set of cantis before. Performance is good, but only cantis I've ever used, so can't compare 'em to much.
Planet X Frogs Bollox might be a good alternative at £29. In fact at that price might be worth trying out. Never used 'em myself.

Ultegra Flightdeck brifter for a double up front - commonly available? I've only just realised mine is a triple on a double ring, which is a convenient thing to find out trying to KOM. Absolute grinding halt.
It's from an 8-speed group, although I have no idea what year...
otherwise, is there a convenient hack - other than just quick dropping through the middle gear...

I found Frogglegs to be rather dated and a pain to get right - no adjusting screws, post mounted pads, the pads supplied are the worst pads I've ever experienced (wine gums would be better) also the cable bridge is piss weak.
Tektro's have adjusting screws on both sides and a commonly used design for the cable that bridges the two sides. I can have them on and working nicely inside 10min. -

Tektro or Shimano work well.
Tektro is cheaper. -

What kind of crime/event would warrant 4 police helicopters flying in formation?
Saw four of them flying in a line, on behind the other. Circling a very small area (about 1 square mile)
Also saw a teenager getting arrested in the area by about 10 rozzers.

They were all low enough that I could read "police" on the side. I cannot come up with any reasoning for more than one helicopter to be in one area, even if they were in plentiful supply.
The teenager getting nicked could have been a coincidence so feel free to disregard that. But for what reason would four police helicopters be flying in formation? circling a small area?
There is a police training centre in the area, http://www.west-midlands.police.uk/maps/index.asp?map=TallyHo

I'm reliably informed that it was part of an art/music thing going on. something to do with opera I think. There were five hovering over us on wednesday in highgate when we played polo - it was like being invaded!

Mittwoch Aus Licht by Stockhausen - the World Premier!!!!! It includes a camel shitting out glass balls, and a string quartet flying around in individual helicopters. I watched it online last night. Was really good. Honest.

I'm hoping Hillbilly can build some wheels for me, but I've had trouble getting hold of him. Looks like he's been away from the forum for a bit? Does anyone know if he's about,or super busy, or something?
I'd pop over to Brixton but it's a bit far to make during working hours.
totally fair, stupid mistake
