Under 2 days should be possible if you get lucky with the weather, the record going the other way is about 44h. A week is hard going, 2 weeks is pretty relaxed.

Somebody with negative rep tried to rep you - if it's not obvious from the comment, it can be hard to tell whether they meant + or -

Ah, thanks _tester
There was no comment, so I'll assume that it was given with love. -

Can also be a noob repping.

How the fuck do you get a job as an international border guard if you've never heard of Ireland?!?
-
• #31588
You probably only need to know 2 countries for that job.

I couldn't find this in a search:
If I cycle to London Bridge station this afternoon, will I be able to find a space to lock it?
I don't want to get there only to find it's full to capacity...
My other option is leaving it a Bermondsey station but I don't know how secure that will be (safety in numbers me thinks).

If i wanted to sell my specialized tricross sport 2010 how much could I expect to get for it?
it's this spec here
I fell off it when I was drunk once and scratched a shifter but it's never been in a proper crash. probably needs a service to replace cables, ridden for about 5 months through end of 2010/early2011 in all weather so it's seen some road grit/salt but it is a (faken)cross bike so that shouldn't be a deal breaker I guess.

I'm looking into the world of carrying bikes in/on a car. I have zero experience with this so would appreciate any advice.
Looking to drive to paris with as many bikes as practicably possible. Car can either be a hatchback or a saloon depending on how nice my dad is feeling.
Any tips of the best kind of rack, am on a budget.
Cheers!

Try and get as many bikes inside the car as possible. Partially security but as well as that fuel consumption.
-
• #31596
ya, was thinking i should be able to get two in there if i take the wheels off etc, but ideally would like to carry 5 bikes, one for each passenger.
-
• #31597
take two tandems and a brompton.
-
• #31598
5 bikes AND 5 passengers inside a hatchback? That'll be fun.
Rear racks that strap onto the rear of the car are cheapest but they are unlikely to take more than 3 bikes. Tow bar mounted racks go up to 4 bikes. Roof bar racks can take up to 4 bikes, usually. So you are either looking at getting a roof and a rear mounted rack or trying to squeeze one bike into the car along with passengers, and their luggage I presume. -

Complicated place, this.
So what is worth more, public accolades or private reps? -
