What are the regs if you p_nctr, can you take a wheel from someone or do you have to fix it yourself?
I'd take a wheel in a 12 or 24hr. Anything less I probably wouldn't have spares but perhaps puncture kit to get me home.

You can take a wheel from anybody who offers one
I had a spare bike and selection of wheels during the 12/24.
With only one go a year (two last year) it pays to be able to keep riding on something if you have a mech/accident.

I have been looking around and from what I've seen online, and from the image attached, it looks like Nitto made a longer NJS seatpost in the same style as the SP72. That is, longer than the 250mm length currently available.
Does anyone know anything about this? I can't find anything about it online.
I got an S-65 from these guys.
Mine was 460mm, they also have 300mm.

When you've got edscoble doubting himself, you think that you might have just come up with a good question. Sadly I'd like the answer, and I'm fairly sure its an easy to work out which of us is right, its just that I don't know...
I'm liking the look of these SRAM Apex. Wiggle confirms that the drop on them is 39-49mm. My front forks say they need a brake drop of 47-57mm. This would only give an overlap in range of 47-49mm, a 3mm adjustment range.
Does this mean that they are not really suitable? I thought that they most likely aren't really, ed had initially thought that they were, but then wasn't sure.

For the sake of £20 why not just buy them and fit them carefully, keep the packaging and if they don't just return them?

Mainly because the bikes not getting built until the 18th, and it would be £40 for the pair, and I want to ensure that I have all the bits together well before that.
Also, I'm interested in the answer, otherwise I might have done just that. :)

I was given a shitake mushroom growing kit consiting of some sort of growing substrate (sprayed with mushroom dust - stop me if I get too technical) and a plastic propagator.
I presume that in order to prolong the life of the kit - with a view to having mushrooms 'for free' for ever it would be a case of adding more substrate to allow the mycelium to grow, spread and then fruit. Is this right and does anyone know what substrate I should use and where I might get some?

Yeah, it's a massive pain in the arse. But I was wondering how it works from a maths/technical point of view...

What's meat spin?
Think of the helicopter in puppetry of the penis, except the locomotion is provided by a another individual
Yeah, it's a massive pain in the arse. But I was wondering how it works from a maths/technical point of view...
It requires some moderately involved calculus

Assuming its the the same/similar to my credit suisse one, it generates a 6-digit number. I think the first three digits of these are specific to your account and loop with a certain number of combinations. The second three are a general number from the system. When the token is made, there is a common "seed" on the security company's server. So when your token generates a number, the same one is generated on the server. When you type it in, the server checks it against the one that it has.

If the frame needs 47-57mm brake drop, that doesn't mean it takes any size in that range, it means it takes one drop which falls within that range. So, if it's 47mm, then a 39-49mm brake will fit, but if it's 50mm it won't.

@timmah: Looks like the Sony drivers he was using were the latest but they didn't include the latest nVidia drivers. My mate installed the latest Forceware drivers (which he said had failed to install previously but anyway..) and Traktor is much better now. Thanks for your help.

^^ "You must spread rep. before giving it to mdcc_tester again."
Damn, I thought that was only happening with General_Lucifer.
Can I just check that I've understood what you said correctly. Basically The Scoble was right, and I had failed to understand how these things work. Which would be the answer that I was hoping for really.
Many thanks!

Since my next fixed wheel bike will definitely be a custom jobbie, logically 130mm would be the strongest and best option for a fixed wheel hubs, or is there's a reason why I should stick with 120mm?
Mainly cause I'm looking to build a really good wheelset that I can build now and transferred to a future custom build (current frame accept 126mm, only 2mm difference both side)
