Bit of a random one but can anyone recommend kennels for cats in south/south east London? (I know I could ask in more sensible places but I figured some frequenters of this thread (i.e. Dammit) might be able to help.)
Two cats for how long? We could look after them for a few days if that helps.

They're quite bonkers. I'm not sure how safe it would be to inflict them on normal people.
I'm not sure at the moment; I've fallen in love with a house which probably won't be available before I have to move out, so I'm investigating options.

Toe covers... what and make Toeverlapland even worse!? If/when it gets icy/snowy again Argos is getting a brake and a cross tyre.

maybe

^^They'd have to put up with James and Higgs, some bonkers-ness I would think we could cope with.
Just a thought, really.

Thank you, much appreciated. There's a chance I can talk my current agency into letting me hang around for a bit but we shall see...

You could always leave them with the very friendly chap a couple of doors down from you?

I think these are the right ones:
http://www.bikeworldusa.us/CABLE-FERRULE-DC-92-STEP-DOWN/M/B0012UV2G8.htmBut if these fit it would save the expense of shopping in America:
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/stepped-chrome-ferrules-37-mm-insert-for-5-mm-gear-outer-pack-of-4-prod5267/Do you need both? I've got one in the parts bin.

Yeah I'll need two :/
Thanks a lot for the links, I have a feeling only those in america will fit, but will have to keep searching uk first. -

Anyone recommend a bike shop in York. Or is there anyone in York with a BMX freewheel remover so I can replace a freewheel with broken pawls.
Thank you
Probably much too late but Cycle Works - either at the station or the one on Bishopthorpe Road.

Leader 722ts vs Evans'ex display Fuji feather (£300) or Xander's Dolan (might be too small for me at 56cm..i'm 6ft & usually ride 58 or 57..
Can't decide..
What do ya recon?
-
• #23116
you going to build it with risers or drops?

off cuts of cast iron soviet gas pipes

You know what? still super indecisive, I'd probably stick my current Velosolo risers (usually what i use) on the Leader & fuji. It would be weird to stick risers on a Dolan though..
what's the Leader built with?
Leader is steel, hydro formed steel tube to be exact according to the specs. Tokyo fixed had the 722ts frames discounted £125! sadly none in my size 58/ 57. My heart is still being tugged at by the Leader, rode a friend's before my crash and loved it.
It's a question of finding a Leader 722ts frame at a decent price, (missed a raw one with forks on here not long ago) The fuji feather is in there purely cos of the price discount on account of it being ex display and i could prob haggle it a bit further down.
Xander's Dolan...well very pretty, though prob a bad idea for street riding, never ridden one in the streets of London, and it's probably too small for me anyway.

I meant what bits would be going on the Leader.

Ahh, you know what? No idea yet haha, decision making hasn't gotten that far. (plus i'm an indecisive fucker) I'm 3 weeks away from being allowed to ride again, and my student loan just came in today. So it's tempting to go nuts..
My last two bikes were beaters, so i decided this time around i'm gona build me something nice i can do my commute & bomb around london on, but nothing too crazy expensive that i'd be shitting paranoid bricks every time i locked it up.
I'll Probably spend no more than 500 absolute maximum.

either way,
Fuji Feather...Yeah that's kinda my thinking too, though the frame is pretty alright, i'd want to replace most of the parts though, if i haggle them evans people at the wimbledon store down to 250 or summat then sell the bits i don't want to whomever would bite, make some money back, still seems like such a compromise on the initial fixation...<3 Leader 722ts

Dunno, Feather is cheap and complete... I'd go for the leader if you're prone to crashing... (sounds like you are, steel is real etc) or you could get the feather then upgrade parts/frame as you go...
In my mind i spell it as toverlap, but it looks better as two words otherwise it looks like a Norwegian town. And yes, exactly like that but with a brake because I dont trust my stopping power in the wet or when i'm tired. you should make some toe covers like that pompino in the rat thread.
