I haven't used a cadence sensor for years now. It can be useful (moreso for new riders) but it's not necessary.
You don't need to worry about your heart rate either though it can help to know it if you are training for specific races or events and want something for pacing and measuring training efforts.
Wanna buy my Polar S725X? :)
Thanks, I ordered a 605 yesterday morning though :)
It's going to my folks house as a Christmas present so I suppose I should tell them now.
I was discussing this with cupcakes yesterday - I think my Garmin requirements are slightly different to a lot of people on here, I want one to help me find my way to places like this, I want to know how far I've gone and preferably how long it took but that really is plenty.

@CYOA, all of the credit reference agencies have to give you a report for £2 by law, the free trials are better but you sometimes have to ring to cancel and it can take ages to get through on an 0870 number...
There used to be three agencies, Experian, Equifax and Call Credit - I don't know if there are more now. Check 'em all.

The ceramic under the waterline is brown, attacked it with bleach and a good strong brush and it's hardly done anything to it. The previous user didn't keep the best hygiene in work
That's limescale build up, you need acid to shift it, not alkali.
e.g. http://mistralie.co.uk/catalogue/product/97/Acidic-Toilet-Cleaner---Heavy-Duty---Premium-LOOBR
A sachet of kettle descaler normally does the trick. The brown stains are where the shite has bonded to limescale.
Can't you just pour a litre of coca cola down there and leave it overnight?

Does anyone have a Sunday Times login?
I'm after an article from the Sunday Times this Sunday just gone - ie 4th Dec about the new seed EIS relief and a quote for a figure of 56% (I think) for the number of companies that fail within 12 months.
Even better would be the original source of this data.
Cheers.

Just tried both experian and equifax - have to give card details, fair enough - both cards unrecognised by both companies despite being active and full to the best of my knowledge.
I feel like Will Smith in Enemy of the State.

I have restored such a lavatory to a sparkling state with a liberal application of this

Often when industrial strenght cleaners don't work a bit of elbow grease does the trick. Scouring pad (and glove if you are one of those Howard Hughes types) and go at it. Depends how long it's been there but doesn't usually take much shifting.

Looks like Sigma's the best option, they sell 2 for £1.50 each, whilst CycleFit want £21.99 for 8.
Bugger! I've bought the replacement packs in the past. Thanks for spotting this.
Do you know anywhere does the 'extra long' bolts?
-
• #21643
are these for speedplays? the long bolts are needed for the leg length correction kit but should not be required if simply installing the wedges underneath the cleat mechanism.

Does anybody know where I can source a zipper for my adidas rainjacket. All the zippers you can buy in town are too wide and Rapha will not get me one?

I was there for half an hour today scrubbing away. Bleach did something, but not much. Bought some limescale remover today so I'll try that tomorrow.
I don't even know if I'm going to have this job for that long, but the toilet and the sink were disgusting. I threw 5 mugs in the bin and salvaged 5 after a hard session of scrubbing. The guy who used to be here is a great guy but he doesn't seem to understand that type of thing.
