aah i need some business cards rolled off - double sided the works. i been doing some looking around and theres actually a place across the road from where i work who can do it, for a small fortune mind you. hey ho - i aint paying and its not coming outa my budget.
this wouldnt be an issue if the usually reliable mom 'n pop printers we usually use didn't get bought up by some fucktards out in essex and subsequently lost all the proofs i sent them over two weeks ago.
hey ho.

↑This, or less.
Take the cranks and PC-V(I*) and wiring harness off the price the complete kit made and you come to a negative number. There's a couple of PC-VI head units hovering around the $100 at the moment, but it's a big punt to go in for the head unit and spider separately. You already have the cranks? Given that the one that went for £500 complete was too rich for your blood you should be reasonably confident that if you win the spider for under £100 then you can complete the kit for around £400.
He emailed me back about this, he'd accept a minimum of $900+postage for the power meter, wiring harness and (not working) PC-V, this after I emailed him the link to the complete, working, freshly batteried meter/harness/PC-V/cranks/Bottom bracket that went for $830.

Does anyone here dive (as in scuba)? I was thinking of giving it a go and just wondered what was involved.
I looked at a few places and it looks straight forward but is it?
Can highly recommend these guys - www.2dive4.co.uk - worth the train ride out of London (and probably cheaper than London based dive centres). Also, London School of Diving is in Chiswick.
Go for a Try Dive - the club will provide all the kit, and it will be in a swimming pool. If you're going to take to it, you'll find out as soon as you try breathing underwater. You will or you won't, but the try dive will certainly give you enough time to try it to see whether you want to move on to the Open Water course and then off to Egypt - cheap, close and awesome diving. I went diving on my own to Egypt/mexico/belize/kenya/spain, but there will be club trips you can join if you don't know any divers.
For the first few holidays, count on hiring kit. Once you've done a few weeks of kit hire, then it will be worth buying some of your own kit.
PM if you want to have more of a chat about it.

I've got one of these, in white, and it's a bit grubby
how the hell do I clean it?

Try baby wipes.
They should do it if it's muck, but the it could just be discoloured... if that's the case am not sure.

will give it a try, but it seems to be kind of impregnated in the white leather
could strip it I suppose, but dont know how that would look on this bike or if I'd even like to sit on it

Chuck it in a pillow case and give it a trip through the washing machine.

This will dry out the leather, it will crack and die.
safe for a babys bottom but not a cows hide?
A baby's bottom is alive, it will produce natural oils to stop it from drying out.

What would be the best way to remove rattlecan paint from the braking surface of an aerospoke without damaging the spok?
Sandpaper or would taping up to the edge and nitromoors work? -
• #20420
Rag and white spirit?
-
• #20421
braking on it?
-
• #20422
attach sandpaper to brake blocks. brake.
sounds crazy, might work though (not responsible for any adverse outcomes, mind.) -
