OK mighty lfgss hivemind i need your help please. I had a crash recently. bike fucked. been desperately trying to find a quick ride, a beater pub thing. no luck.
But i just found two bikes, two dudes are selling on here. trouble is i can't fucking decide. And you guys out there are more knowledgable so can make a more educated suggestion. Help me decide please.
See you already bought one of them. Now the obvious advice is to buy the other as well, ride them both, and if you don't like one then sell it on.
Let us know how the Sun works out.

My cat came in this morning with a severe limp. It appears to have injured a hind leg.
It has spent the day resting. What should I do with it? Should I just keep it in the house ofr a couple days and see if it gets any better or arrange a visit to vet ASAP for x-ray or whatever?
There are no surface wounds or visible swelling. Its a smallish female cat, about a year old. Avoids other cats usually but loves hiding under cars.

I would always err on the side of caution with any cat less than 3 years old and take it to the vet.
Up until 3 years the cat's immune system is developing. Even if you can't see a cut, it is possible that is has been bitten by another animal and may have an infection.
Hope it gets better soon x

My two year old cat developed the same kind of limp, and I made an appointment to take her to the vet but the limp disappeared and she was fine. I would take Shoosh's advice, however.

Ok y'all, so I have this hipster rucksack. It looks like this:
I really like it, it's waterproof, it holds all my shit and is quite small. However the straps have fuck all padding which is a little noticeable when it's heavy. Is there somewhere I can get add-on pads, like velcro wrap-around things? Or will I have to make them myself because most rucksacks have them built in as standard? I've tried searching but google/amazon/ebay are all being unhelpful.

Just spray the straps with this:

fjallraven is cool shit worn by Swedish orienteers, er, whats it doing in oxton?

Well I bought it from the MoMA gift shop in New York, thinking it was nicely designed and that it would be mega unique and awesome when I got back to London. Only to see two people with the same one within days of returning, and at least 50 more since then. It's a massive hipster trend. Sigh. And Swedish people keep telling me how all the schoolchildren have them in Scandinavia.
Childrens seatbelt straps seem the way to go, thanks Alkali!

aha,
see,
Sweden and Scanda is really hip at the mo, orienteering will be hip soon, now that would be cool -
• #18992
I'm just annoyed that I wasn't even aware that is was a trend and bought it anyway, which means that I'm the most predictable hipster ever.
-
• #18993
It was in the MoMA gift shop and you didn't suspect it might be just a little bit trendy? It's not the place most people go to for their luggage.

Trendy for NY, not London! I was thinking that MoMA had sourced them from some tiny Swedish company, and that it was unlikely to be widely available. Oh how wrong I was.

Ah yes, £250 Haglofs sleeping bags will definitely be the next hipster trend! For that chic hobo look.
