anyone know what those things are on the back of taxis, on either side, that look a lot like the indicators on a normal car? kinda orange clear plastic bits located near the rear, brake and reverse lights. but they don't seem to have bulbs behind the plastic. anyone know what they're for?
They are solar powered microwaves, only used between the hours of 10.45 and 11.32, sort of breakfast only. Instead of using actual micro waves the microwave type thing actually houses a miniture austrian dragon, named after the person who built the microwave type home for the dragons to live. The dragons wouldn't have it any other way, they make breakfast at those times for them selves and the cabbies can help them-selves. They fly about and mate with russian ostriches on the 3 saturday of the 6 month of each year.

We even went to a guy who was on telly. He refunded us some money, because couldn't help my wife much. They charge so much per hour, that - if you really had block bookings - you'd be better off than a GP.
Keep pestering. But it can be difficult to find someone who you can relate to.

Are these creatures relations of the rare Pyrenean Mountain Elephant?

Are there any bike shops in London with a good selection of Pashleys in stock? My girlfriends Dad is interested in getting one (probably a Roadster 26) but he wants a test ride before he buys.

I ended up getting a whole new 105 5600 groupset from Merlin in the end. I need a fair few of the parts either now or quite soon and those that I don't need will be going on classifieds.
Whilst one shifter was broken, the other was crash damaged so I thought I'd splash out and change them both. A whole 105 groupset was only £90 more expensive than just the shifters by themselves!

A question to do with Optics:
As the iris of the eye gets larger to adjust to low light levels. Why does this not create a very shallow depth of field for our vision (or does it?).
And for animals who can really adjust their iris's from pin point small to very big (like cats) do they get a change in focal lengths?
-

Your vision gets progressivly poorer as light levels go down- you are actually seeing in black and white below a certain level of illumination.
Your brain however is good at inferring and extrapolating.
It's to do with magnets.

it doesn't give shallow depth of field visually, but as the iris becomes larger then the more peripheral rays focus infront of or 'behind' the retina confusing the image more noticeably than during the day with a small iris. Some people (generally with small uncorrected rx) can find their vision becomes noticeably poorer in bad light due to this.
And magnets.
