Yes you are right, I did put my name on the list as I had every intention of doing it on the saturday, staying over in brighton/Ditchling for sunday and Monday then wander back to London.

Looking at the list of the people on the ride and coming to the conclusion that I would not want to spend a prolonged period of time with certain people, so did not ride with those people.

Would you prefer canisten over bepanthan? I can't find a free sample of canisten.

Is this bike as ugly as I fear it is? I love the ride and geometry and am really tempted by one. I'm not normally fussed about looks but I think this might just be a little too ugly even for me.

is clear-coating or lacquering a frame set difficult to do myself, or better to get professionally done?

rather than spray , I thought I'd try this kinda' look..
