+1 to SRAM apex
+lots to SRAM, and it's cross compatible all the way up to Red (or XX, if wide ratios float your boat)

Dear Wiggle,
What the fuck exactly are 'cycling products' then? I have lots of bike parts in my cart but apparently none of them fucking fit the description for your new discount code to work.

I'm not sure if this is even possible. In my head it makes sense but I need some help;
I've got a spare track chain set and I'm thinking of marrying it up with a 9 speed cassette I've got laying around.
All I'd need is the rear deraileur but what size chain would it put on it? Would I need something to stop the chain from being thrown on the front also?

Is the chainring 3/32? If so a standard 9spd chain will do. I run this setup on one of my bikes and the chain never falls off. 42mm chainline lines the chainring smack in the middle of the rear cassette. if youre running 1/8, I don't think its possible without a new chainring.

Well the current chain ring is 1/8 which I guess I could change for 3/32 quite easily.

You're good to go then. You only really need a chain device if you are MTBing, it shouldn't fall off in normal road riding conditions. I use a sram pc991 chain i think.

WD40 or something penetrating and small pliers.
Cut a slot across and use flat driver.
Drill through the head.
Saw of the other end to open. -
• #15338
Carefully drill the head off and then use pliers to get out the rest of the bolt - not fingers as the tip of the bolt is going to be sharp.
Or
Hammer a torx bit into the end making sure it's a tight fix.
Or
Tighten the other 3 bolts up a bit more relieving the pressure on that one bolt allowing you to undo it a bit.

by loosening the two bolts on the opposite side of the bar and tightening the bolt on the top side you might get the problem bolt untensioned enough to use radio pliers to slowly extract
or, you could use a screw extractor
or, you could epoxy in an allen key
the last two will also benefit from untensioning the bolt slightly from the first option

I pressume they go on in increasing width? Got a "1" four "2"s and two "4"s...

Is three cats too many cats? We have two at the moment.
Thinking of getting one of these:

Portal-eyed cats are automatically awesome. Whether the other 2 will be happy remains to be seen.
They think you deserve a road trip to Doncaster.
