How many chilli anchovies can I safely eat per day? A jar contains 91 grams, or 51 grams dry. I am on my third jar for the day.
I always get poisoned with them. perhaps it's because I buy them from the anti-pasti counter and some folk touch them up? Can't resist, though.

Raf, that's a definite UTFS question rather than hope that someone based in 'dam checks this thread while your post is on the last page. or ask xander, he's just been, and may have made the same enquiry before he went (i've no idea if he did or not)

I did a search and got one, whom I PM'd just wondering if anyone knew of others.
Think xander just did the wedding as he flew over and didn't mention meeting any forumengers when I asked.

Can you get a puncture due to heat transfer? i.e. overuse of the front brake on a downhill section, hot rim, POP!

i saw a tramp wearing a pair like that only in slightly better condition.

Not really, once the rim is very worn and thin it tends to split from the pressure of the tube.

Anyone know what thread the lockring is on a hed track disc wheel?
It doesn't matter unless you are using it for fixed TT'ing.

Plus, this occurred during an early summer evening in the UK. Temperature ~12 centigrade. Even if you constantly feathered the brake for the entire 90 second descent (don't do this), the rim's not going to heat up much.
Either your blocks were set up incorrectly and touched the sidewall, or you just got a 'normal' puncture.

With an old fashioned ceramic wash-basin and pedastal, is the pedestal meant to be weight bearing, or just to hide the pipes?
I have two basin brackets that I am in the process of putting on the wall, and need to work out if the basin should be ~1cm above the pedestal, or resting on it.

a: yes it's loadbearing to a certain extent, you still need to fix the basin to the wall.
b: why are you even installing sanitaryware on an unfinished surface? -

Getting the position of the pipes correct so that I can aquapanal it.
Basin will come back off the wall when I have established where the pipes need to be, and installed them.

Also establishing where additional studs need to be for basin brackets.

ms.chris generously gave me a graze.com code for a free nibble box. do I go for the eatwellbox ("Our signature box packed with nutrient rich, medium and low GI foods for a healthy perfectly balanced grazeā¦") or the energybox (Feel sleepy mid afternoon? [me: yes, but I eat a good salad with protein, veg & lettuce and a light dressing of flaxseed oil/aminos/citrus juice! However, I also have about four cups of coffee with milk and a small sugar each day.]Take a look at what you ate for lunch and you may find the culprit that's sent you on a blood sugar roller coaster. The energy box is handpicked to help keep blood sugar levels stable to avoid the highs and lows that deprive you of energy and the ability to function throughout the day.)?
Drink some water, eat some rennies.
Or, drink some diet coke. Eat some mentos.
