Looking to book some flights to/around the US, every time I check the prices seem to fluctuate, disappear, reappear etc... Someone said they store your IP address and put the prices up next time you check..?! Someone else said it's better to use an actual travel agent shop.
Any advice? Been using things like Kayak, Travel Supermarket etc. -

Or a quick answer to this please: Is £500 an OK price for LDN->NY and SF->LDN combined?

Cheers!
(I waited a minute to see if "no." was going to follow)

any goalkeepers out there? want a game today 8pm?
just 30 minutes 5-a-side game on Caledonian Road. it's free (for you, it's covered by the team). gloves provided if you need. no expectations - if not for you we have to stick a non-goalie in net. paid in beer at the forum drinks of your choice, payment not dependent on performance

Looking to book some flights to/around the US(...)
Any advice? (...)If it's for now, perhaps wait for that volcano ash to disperse first.
I've got flight booked for next week and now I'm worried it will become a lolcano saga like last year.

Seem pretty organised to me, and quite friendly too (I think)*. They're very together web-wise as well.

So some types of speaker drain a device more than others regarless of the volume set on the device ?
Yes, even if they are using the same driver circuit (and they probably don't in your example), the impedance varies between speakers, and the volume knob just varies the output voltage. Power drain is inversely proportional to speaker impedance, so switching from 8Ω to 4Ω speakers will double power drain at a given output voltage, assuming the amplifier's internal impedance is negligible.

What is Velocio's avatar? First I thought it was a corrupted image, but I've since seen it on corporate gubbins.

Android phones can use it as a url. So you use the Barcode app, it reads the boxes like a barcode and takes you straight to a webpage.

Will I be able to fly into Aberdeen on the 27th May? (That is if I can fly into Schipol first!)

I wouldn't bank on it. Looks like most of the ash is at low level, so Scottish airports could close even though high altitude flights over Scotland from London Airports will be unaffected. This map is from ground to 20,000' for tomorrow

Different volcano (Grímsvötn), but still in Iceland

I was listening to a guy from the Icelandic met office earlier, apparently dust particles are larger so they're dropping from the cloud much sooner. Hopefully this cloud wont be as bad.
