Cantilever cable hangers. Discuss.
Where?
(matching colour, fork mounted, rear attachable to the seat binder pin)

On the front, if you've got a fork that's drilled for a brake, then go for one of the mounts that attaches there as a shorter cable should mean less likelihood of fork judder, otherwise get one that fits the fork steerer at the headset.
For the rear then one that is incorporated into the seat binder bolt works fine.

The seller that sold me bent bars and a stem (on ebay) has now received the returned bars and is offering a partial refund of 95p after my postage costs are refunded. Shouldn't they pay all postage costs?

This is cross-posted from the running thread, apologies. Thought it would be seen quicker here and I'm currently having a Twitter argument about this so need to come up with an answer....
I've just got back from my second run - 1.1 miles. Pretty poor, but I'm going to keep trying.
Thing is, a colleague started giving me grief for only running a mile. I said I'd kick his arse on a bike, he asid it was easy with the help of a machine, and I said we should do a race; part run, part bike, winner has shortest summed time.
Now, what distances are fair? I can hardly run, but even a novice cyclist can move fairly quickly.
Help?!
I'd say 1 part run to 4 or 5 parts cycle. That should sort out the novice cyclist from the keen cyclist.
Are you trying to hint that your training for a triathalon by any chance Sparky?
Fancy running together a couple of times a week?

Going to walk before I can run, so to speak. Just fancied trying something new.
I'd be up for running with you, but you need to remember that I can only get around the UEA lake once at the moment. Fancy it?

Andy, that's what I heard - that fork mounted works better.
Could you also point me in the direction of a shop which stock these?
I've got trouble finding decent matching pair. -

Specialized do one - someone like Hargroves Cycles or Zepnat (who both specialise in cyclocross kit) are likely to have it.

I went out on the Cotic yesterday, the fork vibrates like a freshly struck tuning fork when you hit the disc brake hard.
Slightly disconcerting watching it twanging backwards and forwards.

Sounds good to me chap. I've been taking it easy with running at the moment (due to my ruined knees) but any extra cardio is a plus!

That's the one! Thanks. I don't know about the CX scene, so not sure where to shop.

Does anyone else get a hangover type effect from non alcoholic beer?
-
• #11820
By non alchoholic I presume it will be lager.
You get hangovers from all the chemical shit in lager, not the alchohol.
You don't get hangovers from real ale, even the strong stuff.
Sure the alchohol will dehydrate you and you'll get a headache, and lose some sleeop, but a glass of water before bed will fix that. -
