Can anyone tell ID this Di2 battery holder and let me know how to remove it?
Thanks!

Looks like the standard Shimano one. Squeeze the ends of the circlip together - you'll probably need circlip pliers to do it - remove the circlip and the washer behind it, remove the battery, and you should then be able to remove the plastic housing.

Can anyone tell me if the Giant Liv Alight has 130 or 135 rear spacing? It's equipped with Altus/Tourney groupset, but I can't find any additional info on the geo ot hubs.

Where can I get a really good men's haircut in south east London? I'm normally happy enough with the guy round the corner who does it in 15 minutes for a tenner but I've got to look spiffy for a wedding.

Dunno what you consider really good but I've been really impressed with this chap who works out of Chaplins in Crofton park... https://www.instagram.com/adamdbarber/?hl=en

I bought this Courier Comp frame yesterday and have installed parts from an Avanti I had stripped. It has a built in noodle/macaroni tube for the brake cable but I don't know what I need to at my back end... The brake cable work but is inelegant. What do I need to do back there? Also what rough year is this? Thank you.

That's for a canti brake, not a V-brake like you have. It looks like you're running it 1x, why not use the cable stop on the left side of the top tube?

I had a similar issue https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15013586/incontext/ and there are some replies with recommendations

Thank you one and all. It's staying as 1X8 at present so as suggested I'll cable it where the gear cable should be.

Just a caveat, gear cable guides can be (so not definitely) narrower than brake cable guides, so it may not fit without some fettling.

How about waxing it yourself? You can do it with a bar of wax and an iron. Allegedly.

They're both waxed, the "storm" one has a different brim / a bit more ways of adjusting the fit - wondering whether it does actually do much in real life use.

If the peak has a bit of stiffness it probably does help in wind and rain. Or you could wear a cap. Which would work better and be more versatile.

The word “gadfly” is used to describe someone who persistently challenges authority, often by repeatedly asking potentially uncomfortable or pointed questions.
I’m sure there is another word, possibly also in the form of a “[something]fly”, often used to describe a dilettante or someone who flits incessantly from topic to topic… but I can’t think of it. Can anyone help me remember what it is?
Maybe @Oliver Schick?

Great! Tell Eva I sent you! I hope it goes well. If it's a big job you might need a long appointment, like 50 mins or so. Might be good to give her a heads up

Yes, that comes from Socrates.

I think there is an expression, although I can't think of it now, either. I'm not sure it's a fly, but I think 'butterfly' is sometimes used in that sense. It's not what I would call a classic expression, though.
Mayfly?
Not sure, that's generally used for something ephemeral rather than as ewanmac describes.
Is the Barbour waxed storm hood an improvement over the regular ones in terms of functionality?
