Thanks very much all - 20m may be an exaggeration but it's definitely longer than 10m. Prob more like 12-15m. Not expecting amazing volume or quality, just a bit of background to lure them away from where I'll be spiking the punch.
Wondering vaguely if I can get my Sonos stuff to work there but not sure about turning up on the day and trying to figure out networking. Will look at all the above.

40k kitchen club option is Sonos Move. Marginally more expensive than the £25 Anker option, at £400...

Or Roam at £179

Edit: Ah, missed the earlier bit about not too spendy

The real answer is a couple of minirigs and a minirig sub.
More realistically, these are pretty decent and can be picked up for £60-£70 or so on ebay https://www.libratone.com/uk/products/speakers/zipp-2/

What’s the best way to try and restore this fleece? This area near the shoulder is very matted, it’s 100% polyester. I was thinking to wet it and comb with a pet brush.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a (car) alloy wheel refurbishment service in north/north-west London?

I’ve got a T1.6A 250v fuse, the hardware shop near me has only 1.5v, would this be ok or will it burn out
Edit- Diy shop round the corner has 1.6, but it’s slow blow. Will have to check the user manual!

Mrs mespilus once managed to drive her Saab into a traffic island, causing damage to tyre sidewall and the alloy wheel.
The closest I could find was in Hanwell along the Uxbridge Road, just east of the Brent.
If convenient, I'll try and remember/find the name/phone number.
Dropped car off. Got a call a couple of hours later. Wheel fully repaired, no sign of the damage. Tyre replaced with a brand name at a reasonable price. -

Same, I managed to get the 6GB Ram option for the same price as 4GB, which I think was exclusive to Amazon. It's a great phone, but hate the dedicated google assistant button.

anyone know what this website is and why are they selling my pictures or worse still my bike for 39.99 ?
-
• #111574
Presumably random scam website that harvest pics and put ludicrously cheap prices on to lure morons

I paid the £40, can I just collect from you? Save on postage
If you can stomach amazon I recommend this one to everyone - genuinely don't think you can beat it for the price. Welcome to borrow (SE23) if you wanted to try it out. 20m is a big room, and I think any portable bluetooth speaker would struggle in it, but this wouldn't be any worse than any others. I also have a PA system you could borrow a speaker of if you wanted to really blast it out for pass the parcel...
