Thanks, no joy . It loads as 0 miles.
Here's the speed graph from the original recording, so that data is there. I forgot to turn of GPS so it measured 2 miles under a tin roof.
Is there a manual fix? I'll see if I can find a way meanwhile.

Sorry, I misread and didn't realise you wanted to keep the speed data for what is presumably a roller or non-smart turbo ride. Never tried that.

No worries, thanks also @Five-Hats

A friend is having issues with a headset/fork combo. The steerer of the forks appears to be slightly wider at the base, near the crown and he can't get the headset to fit over it. Apologies for the dodgy screenshot of him demonstrating. Below are the fork and headset specs, any suggestions what the issue might be?

Crown races are tight, they should need a decent amount of force and the proper setting tool to install.

Yeah, close enough.

echo snotty’s comments especially about using a good tool.. also have chucked the fork in the freezer then heated up the crown race with a hair dryer.. that’s helped me with stubborn ones in the past

Just fucking twat it with a big hammer.

I just split all my crown races with a hacksaw

does anyone have a recommendation for a singlspeed freewheel of 14 teeth, that is compatible with a track flip/flop hub?
Are the BMX freewheels all compatible with track hubs? because I feel that it is towards this front that I could find a 14T freewheel -
• #111339
16t is the smallest you can go, anything less (apart from one 15t one I've never seen and I don't think is made anymore) is BMX mini thread.

Odyssey make a 13t if that's any use? I think for 14t you're probably looking for a Dicta one.

that will be too small for a track hub. the threads are for a specific type of bmx hub.
-
• #111342
I figured the limitation I found in searching would be the thread diameter of a track hub. I think I worked out a different way around so I should be good in the end. Thanks to you, @snottyotter and @Dry for the help!

Why not just get a bigger chainring?

What do people suggest for double sided sticky tape/pads? I want to attach a Dyson battery hoover (V6) and a food waste bin (about 4L) to a couple of cupboards using them but not sure what to opt. Cupboards are lightly textured.
I have some of the 3M VHB tape but haven't found it to be great. Are those Command strips any good?

How heavy are these things? I've used this in a few applications

I have a 14 that will fit on track threads. To achieve this the ratchet is positioned further out than normal. This means it's a fair bit wider than a normal freewheel. I can measure it if you're interested? Not sure I'm gonna use it.

That sounds interesting.
-
• #111348
Probably not too heavy. 3kg maybe but in the hoover's case you need a bit of added twist to get it out of the charger.

Never had bike insurance before, but getting something relatively expensive (compared to all the other bikes I've owned) so feels wise... Are bikmo and Laka the ones? recommendations welcome! tia

This bugs me. Any whole number can be written as the product of primes, but can any given whole number be written as the product of only one set of primes? If so, why? I can't intuit why that must be true.

Field Stripper option should allow you to remove position and speed.
