EDIT: Do you need to have a paid for account to send routes from Ride with GPS to your phone?
I don't need it to necessarily be available offline as I'll have signal, but can't see how to do it otherwise.
Cheers.
For background I've got an old Wahoo RFLKT that I haven't used for a long time. which requires Ride With GPS and I don't have a cradle for my phone.

Just in case anyone searches here or Google the answer ares are:
- idk for sure, but it looks like you wait for it to sync and then open the saved route in your app.
- Wahoo is just one of those lame companies that releases updates that fuck hardware and then terminates support. Admittedly it's a bit of tech from 2015 but it's a shame as it when it worked it was a nice bit of kit.

This rattlecanned mess is a faceplate to a Luxman LX33 integrated valve amp, made of ~4mm aluminium.
It should be unpainted metal.
Can anyone recommend someone who could replicate it (and maybe anodise it)?
Thanks![edit: replace because it’s been drilled and filled]

Your local control panel builder (for electrical/mechanical building services) will have the skills and tools to punch out the rectangles. Chances are they have an arrangement with an anodiser so you don't have to find one for yourself.

What's a nice 1/8 chain (maybe on the tartier side) for fixed road riding?

Wipperman

Nice one, they look nice!

1Z1 is best for road use as it's cheap, quiet and corrosion resistant, but it is aesthetically challenged. #tartmode chain is KMC X101, choice of nickel plated for an understated classic look or brass plated for the kind of chavs who like gold plated bathroom fittings 🙂
You can get the best of both worlds with the e101EPT, which is the same chain as the X101 track chain but with KMC's ecoprotec corrosion resistant coating.

Basically washers for the tie rods that hold the place together?

Some buildings have iron esses, crosses and the like. They straighten up/prevent bowing walls.

The family scruffy leave it anywhere load carrier “The Family Tank” has to be changed after (justified) complaints about its handling.
At the moment it is based on a Dawes Roamer 531st “mountain bike” frame, the new Tank is a Peugeot 531 Magnum frame.
As part of the brake upgrade I might try a rear Shimano Roller brake....two questions.
Are they any good and how do I work out which washer I need they come in 3 widths. -

Cheers and @Constable_Savage I didn't know tie rods in residential properties like that was a thing.
-
• #104146
Which washer do you mean? IME rollerbrakes are ok; not massively powerful, but consistent in all weather conditions, and need pretty much no maintenance from one year to the next.

Both the BR-c3000 and BR-c6000 seem to come with either a 3/8"x7.2mm, 3/8x8.2mm or 3/8"x 9.7mm washer it seems to go between the Nexus8 hub and the brake.

How many times have you passed these?

Edit: posted link from phone and not sure if it's working. Check the house immediately south of the bridge.

Ha, many, many times. Never noticed them.

Yep. Look at the side of end terraced properties. If the foundations aren't up to scratch the walls can bow outwards, hence the tie rods.
My dad used to be a building surveyor, I know all about this kind of stuff (very basic knowledge from 30 odd years ago).
Rising damp - 9 times out of 10 is condensation. CSB
Wonderful, thanks very much.
