Google fucking Photos is fucking fucked. Forum upload is fucking fucked. What's the quickest, free option to get a fucking photo uploaded somewhere to add to post?
Currently it's fucking easier to post a picture to twitter and grab the link to that than get fucking Google fucking Photos to fucking work and the forum is fucking total shit for fucking uploads.

I never have trouble with the forum’s image upload.

Not that it helps you, but the forum upload worked perfectly for me the other day when I uploaded tag photos.

It works about 20% of the time for me (on Firefox).
I regularly have to edit the post because the photos I've dragged in don't appear after first posting. Adding more than one at a time pretty much guarantees that none of them will appear.
It's probably worse with some browsers than others.
It's the only real part of the forum software that is unreliable.

Lucky you.
Please explain your steps.

It works about 20% of the time for me (on Firefox).
I'm also using Firefox. 20% of the time doesn't sound like "it works" to me.
I click Upload, choose a file, click Open and the file selection box disappears and nothing happens.
EDIT: and now the cunt works. Die.

I have a different failure mode, in the Home DIY thread I dragged 5 different pictures into the Upload box so they appeared (with the X to remove them in the top right), all good. Hit post. No pictures.
Edit post. Add pictures. Save. No pictures.
Edit post. Add picture. Save. One picture there.
Edit post. Add next picture. Save. Two pictures there now.
...
Edit post. Add last picture. Save. All pictures there now. -

But I try to upload the same fucking photo, using the same fucking method to the Uploading Photos thread and nothing happens.

What upload box?
-
• #102640
You can drag the photos to the grey box where it says "Upload a file".
-
• #102641
Ah, I see, you're dragging them onto the actual upload link. Who'd have suspected clicking 'Upload a file' and choosing one would be the wrong way.

This seems more effective so far. At least you get half a clue that the forum might actually have seen you select a file. Fucking drag and drop though. Pukes

• #102643
I just click 'Upload a file' select however many pictures I want and click 'Post reply'.

Yeah, that doesn't work. You think I didn't try that?
Let me guess, you're not using Firefox?

Are you using a communist ANTIFA browser? Have you tried Chrome?
Ah right, yeah I'm using Chrome.
-
• #102646
Yes, I run 4 browsers at a time, most of the time. Two of them are based on Chrome but not what I use for LFGSS.

Set up random email, sign up to flickr, upload photos with a good internet connection.
go onto selected photo on flickr, press the download button - all sizes option.. do not download the image, press all sizes option.
brings up new page on white background, select photo size required, right click photo - copy image address.
go to lfgss post, press image button at the top bar of typing area, paste link into that then press enter and post reply

click upload a file and find your file
