Phil, as I tend to stop at red lights, on forum rides I have to avoid dropping off the back by moving up through the bunch, riding quite fast, again and again. I'm afraid that isn't something I can do in conditions like this. It wouldn't be safe or fair on other riders.

Sorry to say I'm bailing out, the fresh slippy snow on my road has convinced me its not the ideal day for riding en masse.
