I'd suggest that we meet a little earlier than that, between 8:30 / 8:45 because we will most likely have to ride slightly slower due to adverse conditions and should allow for any delays, so as not to miss the start of the ride.

Sorry all, I'm afraid I'm out, too, owing to a combination of nervousness about the conditions for a mass ride like this and too much stuff to finish. Have fun and ride safely!

p.s. it's snowing up in Islington. It's only light at the moment, so hopefully it won't affect the ride too much.

I think if people are nervous about riding, they shouldn't ride, but that said, if we never trust each other - enthusiastic and regular cyclists - to ride together without issue, then it's a wonder we ever commute or ride anywhere where we might encounter strange and unknown nodders, ready to slide under our front wheels at any moment...

The bike question is, will Dropout drop out?
