Rides off in the sunset now, flats, no steeples, already on the home stretch and yearling for some better equine puns as I deride the level at this horse show here today.

I sometimes think that drivers are blinkered, so use a combination of HI-Vis and lights in the mane. Especially on my tail.

If you riding more than 20 metres then the altura nightvision is gash, too thick; boil in bag stuff.... Try the altura attack. Much thinner and more breathable and you dont actually die of heat stroke when you ride in it. Most importantly it has this really good scotchlite thats kinda black, and really isnt that obvious during daylight hours.
Reflective clothing is a matter of choice, but anyone riding with no lights or ANYTHING in dark clothing deserves to be knocked off imo -

Greetings folks,
I think I wore myself out on the puns front yesterday -really enjoyed the thread...., but just to update you that I purchased a couple of sets of claqs yesterday. Verdict = magic! They are red one side and silver the other so can be used front or back. Good reflecting properties and very easy to attach as they're magnetic.
For claq's sake buy some...
Give thanks,
Tim -

A couple of days ago I found something like RAC LED reflective straps for £3. They're red - one can be clipped around your leg/arm and the other can be hang down from your bag or the seat tube (the elastic is stretchy enough to go around the saddle).

To answer mashton's question (at the top of the page) I've not seen Fibre Flares in any bike shops in London yet but a few places sell them online (e.g. Wiggle)
*I had my blinkers on.
*weak excuse, back to the nursery for me :(
