Are iphones particularly bad with Bluetooth? On my android phone I turn on my bluetooth headphones (I have a few different pairs), they automatically pair and I start listening to music. All the talk about the earpods and the hassle of bluetooth pairing seem to suggest that bluetooth doesn't work particularly well on iphones.

turn bluetooth speaker on > iPhone starts playing through it. No issues to report.

Will wait for iPhone 6 prices to drop (under £200 ideally) and then get a second hand one (currently have a second hand iPhone 5). Don't use them for music so only need the smallest storage size.

I stream to an amp via bluetooth all the time. Had no issues really.

Try sending a file via bluetooth to a non-apple device tho...

^I hung on to a decrepit 5s for three years in order not to get a 6 when the 7 was due... i think i might just get a 6 now. *facepalm.

I got a 5S on contract when the 6 was launched as I didn't fancy a larger phone at the time. Not sure what I'm going to do now - the 5S is still ticking along ok, so I may just go sim only. If iOS10 nobbles it I may consider a SE.

I wonder if Apple et al will eventually move away from the yearly update ? Seems like there's less and less reasons to upgrade each time. Revisions seem to be more targeted at generating extra revenue streams (apple pay, headphones etc) then providing any benefit to the customer outside of better camera/screen/cpu

I'm trying to buy an EE mobile broadband SIM and there is a 35 minute queue to get on their web site and a 1 hour queue to order by phone.
