Bit miffed by the lack of contact/proximity charging on the new mouse/keyboard. This means downtime. I'd rather just continue switching my batteries. Don't most people have a shitload of rechargeable batteries lying around?

Have you seen how the pencil charges?

It has a male connector so needs to be plugged in to an iPad. That should last about, oh, 3 seconds before it breaks.

When I am working, I am 100% efficient. No time for this charging business.

Has anyone had an issue with the HD filling up, I cant seem to find the files that have almost completely filled the disc. After scanning the disc with a few different programs I am still no nearer to finding what to delete.

The computer is a macbook pro from around 2011. As far as I can tell it should have around 100Gb free space but tells me there is only 1GB.

Thats one of the apps i gave a go, i also tried daisy disc and omni disc sweeper. all of them have files i can find taking up around 380GB then around 11oGB of other. It doesnt show where these things are either.

Im going to have to get myself into an apple store at some point. Effort.

It does, you click on the colour box and it show the location.

Thanks it still isn't showing a location though, all the other boxes do. Im going to leave it now and give apple a phone tomorrow.

@chrisbmx116 is there a way to find and delete that stuff?

It doesn't help that the ~/Library folder is now more hidden than it used to be.

From the Go menu in Finder, hold alt and the option to jump to library should appear. That's where application support and so on is.

What do I need to do to get 2011 outlook to run on El Captain on a 2008 iMac? El Captain seems to be fine, but when I open Outlook the new Beach ball won't stop spinning.

I was going to get a couple of external monitors to run my off my 2012 macbook pro. Something around 21inch as makes life a lot easier to do projects. Fed up of working directly off the 15" screen.

Simple question, how do I connect them? Can I do 2 via thunderbolt to DVI?
I've got thunderbolt. And firewire.

So could I connect 1 monitor to thunderbolt.
And 1 monitor to firewire. Both converter to DVI.

Would that run both independently?

Any suggestions on monitor around £100.

Pages: what a fucking cunt of a program.

I have 14 images I would like to insert into a document which I foolishly started in fucking Pages.

Why is there no seemingly obvious way to resize all the fucking images as a group and then arrange in a fucking grid formation without completely fucking up everything else in the fucking document? Surely that's a fairly fucking normal thing to want to do and shouldn't require fucking around with countless fucking settings in the middle of the fucking night? Especially when, still unable to get the fucking thing to work I tried to resort to trusty Word, which DOES function like it's fucking supposed to, only to find I don't have it installed and nor do I have a fucking disc/serial with me.

And another fucking thing. Fuck Apple for making you have to import images into fucking iPhoto or Aperture just to bring them into a document via clicking the media button.

Is it really down to fucking Apache and their fucking open office to save me?

Also AirDrop is fucked for me since El Capitan. So fuck you Cupertino fuck-knuckles with your fucking stylus plugged directly into your fucking tablets to charge.
