Posting from my work iMac 5k, shame our connection's too slow to watch 5k videos on YouTube. Genuinely makes all the other computers here look fuzzy

how much is it (ballpark figure) to get a smashed iphone 5 screen replaced - not via apple who charge £106
-
• #8354
If you have steady hands you can replace it yourself for £30-40. Very easy to follow guides on iFixit and lots of places to buy the screens online (stay away from eBay though)

i'd not trust myself and ideally need to get it done tomorrow, so just wondering what the approx cost will be

£75 from here. I've used them before as they're right next to my work. near Liverpool Street station. can do same day turnaround for £5 more or something

Would anyone in here be interested in my 23" Cinema Display?
Great condition with no marks and no dead pixels. All cables and power brick included, as well as a Mini Display Port to DVI adapter.

Such photo BRO.

Bro, this was my Day-Z setup!
I've no use for the Cinema Display since I sold the gaming rig, hence the sale.

I'd heard you were super clean and tidy but this looks like an architect's render!

Ha, I had the same set up until I broke mine. Such good screens. I was using a S/H 24 inch ACD in our good ol dayz of DayZ inc mic, hence all the echo!

Is it possible to share an icloud calendar with google calendar?
i.e. migrating info to the google calendar?

Yeah, that 20" was like the bargain of the century.
When I bought this last year, I remember the jump in screen sizes caused significant price increases though. The 27" were crazy money.
I'm happy to let this go for whatever is the going rate, which was around the £235 asking price last time I checked eBay. (Admittedly, that was much earlier this year and may have changed?)

I was hoping you'd say the 20" was a well known faulty model or something. I turned it down. :(

what should I be paying for a 15" mid 2009 MBP with 2.8 dual core, 4Gb RAM and 500Gb HDD - approx?
-
• #8369
250?
-
• #8370
Paid £300 to a mate - he wanted £400
-
• #8371
Sounds about right, he was never gonna get 400, I recently sold my top specs mid 2011 MBP for 450.
On a different note, I just accidentally (not so accidental) bought a MBA... the hoarder inside has taken over again.

My iMac internet has suddenly turned to shit for seemingly no reason. Phone/tablet works perfectly still but my imac took about a minute to open this page. Steam/skype is knackered too so it can't just be chrome.
Any ideas? I've restarted imac/router and it's fully updated.

Thunderbolt saga over, new monitor set up and running lovely... The old one's getting repaired (<£100) then sold on... Profit!
You'll fit in well here.
