Yep that's the one, I got the 256gb version,
You just need to double check that on your mac, the hard drive bay takes a 9.5mm one not a 7.5mm one as the size difference means you have to fudge how it sits in the hard drive bay..
Mines an old late 2010 MBP, and the 9.5mm M4 SSD fitted perfectly.

nice one, did you follow a guide or anything? is it pretty straight forward?

Got Ifixit on m phone so followed the instructions, its pretty simple. You just need a set of Torx screwdrivers to undo the body, I think Apple went to some proprietary screws not sure when though, you should check..
Link for early 2011 mbp is here

from april 2012: http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/10/2925937/best-stylus-ipad-review
i went with the Kensington, use one of these on the smart cover and the Notability app.
6 others on my course now do the same!
Hmm so It's clear enough to make notes though? Can you adjust the size of the tip?

have a look on youtube.
plenty clear, can adjust size.
the main feature handwriting is a magnified text area. you can change dimensions of the magnification to write larger or smaller using the same hand movements. can also zoom in and out.
there is the ability to cut and paste what you've written too, very handy for creating room, organising etc.realistically you can't write above 30 words per minute (20 more likely) with a stylus, but it's ideal for annotation. when wanting to write sentences switch to keyboard.

Got and iPhone 5 yesterday, loving it.

By the way. I'd just like to point out that the Macbook Pro Retina is the best laptop ever conceived by man. No contest.
Got my wife one last week. I'm jealous. Slim, slick, ridiculously amazing screen quality. Pics and vids take on a new dimension. Everything else on it works beautifully as well.

Thanks chap - gave the notability app a go. Really impressed with the amount of stuff you can do.

I would like a Mac Book Air, 11", which model should I look for and where should I look?
What is a reasonable price to pay for one?

The general trend towards assembly in such a way that makes them increasingly non reparable or upgradable loses it this title. The spec sheets look great, but I'd never buy one for both of those reasons.

I had my phone (4S) nicked last weekend and no insurance (silly me I know but my previous iphone lasted 3.5 years so I didn't bother). What's the best/cheapest option for getting another one? How risky is getting a cracked screen one off ebay/is it easy to fix?

Good website. My 2007 MacBookPro has been taken apart several times. Good fun.

^^^^ Exact reasons I am not going retina. If I was new to this I'd be all like "but do I need to repair/update it?" YES I DO. I have a late 2009 unibody macbook pro. I have upgraded the RAM and Hard Drive to SSD. Otherwise the display itself is a huge reason in itself to buy it.

Very much enjoying my iPad Mini. iOS has surprised me - though if I hadn't jail broken it it might not be as fun.

^^Yeah, I'm still managing to keep my 2007 mbp going, so far its had a ram upgrade, two new hard drives and a new top case, and its awaiting a new fan as well. Thinking about it, its actually had a new motherboard as well when the graphics card failed, but I didn't do/pay for that one. Never would have lasted this long without being reparable. Just hope that they keep the non retina models going for long enough for me to actually be able to afford a new one.

Yeaaaaaa boi.
Let me know if you get a stylus, not a huge fan of my Kensington but it doubles as a pen. Which is handy. Thanks chap - gave the notability app a go. Really impressed with the amount of stuff you can do.

Biggest thing was being able to make the pen nib smaller. So I can note take and annotate pdfs.
Almost does away completely with the need to carry budget packs with me.
