But they do put that weird 'spice' stuff on their chips, which is dead nice. Positives and negatives.

Yeah, Chip Spice is ace. I still order it online.
Spiders Nightclub is still going apparently. Many a night pissed on the £1 cocktails...

Found the original lease that my mum hand when she brought the flat back in 1990! 125 year lease, pretty sure I didn't extend it when I brought it but am going to do land registry to see if I did and forgot.
So if I didn't extend, currently have 98 years left. Will extend back to 125 as we'll be looking to sell at some point in time brexit allowing.. -
• #21281
From the chat above, you get 90 years don't you?
-
• #21282
Read your chat, might need your mans details, do you mean you get 90yrs before you need to extend lease? Before it starts to become financially difficult to sell on.
GF wants to buy into mortgage/flat so now feels like a good time to pay to extend as long as the financial payments aren't too onerous...
Probably going to be here for the next 5-10yrs, but want to be able to sell quickly if we want to purchase more house based space due to brexit bringing up properties which pre brexit might have been out of reach.. -
• #21283
With brexit, how will you pay for anything?

Can anybody recommend a good electrician in Greenwich/Woolwich?
-
• #21285
No idea! My thinking is there will be lots of properties available as those who brought at the top of the market suffer under the weight of the mortgage, and those who are selling take a long hard look at themselves and realise they won't get what they thought they could, meaning we can afford properties that might have been priced out of our salary range.
Work is currently good, company is growing fast and I just got a raise. I'm underpaid for what I do, so looking for new job after World Cup next year would probably include a big pay jump, which would be good in relation to paying mortgage.. -

Bleak.

Spiders is still the bomb. I went earlier this year. Cloakrooms still 20p
-

I only lived there for one summer, working in a pea factory when my brother was at university! But I do remember Spiders. And my purple vomit the morning after.
(must order some chip spice)

I'd imagine she's quite proud.

Yeh it’s tears of pride at the callous calculation that you might save a few quid if people’s lives fall apart 😂

I was in Hull from '94 to '98. I went to Spiders every week.
Tempted to move back. I could sell my 2 bed terrace in Norwich and buy practically any house I want in Hull and be mortgage free. Some of my favourites from the last couple of years:

Some beauts there for the price. I particularly like #5. And then #6 just for the random garden statue of the guy's butt.

Yeah you need to spend more time communicating with people using words rather than memes..
-
• #21299
I have no idea who you're referring to? And whether this is serious talk or internet jokes?

Number 5 is bonkers. Where are you living now? You sold that flat near the cathedral?
No.
Lived there for two years, never so glad to of left a city than that one.
Pity really, there are some really 3 story nice houses surrounding nice grassed squares for fuck all money.
However, it's got a lot of dickheads, shit nightlife and is a pain to get to and out of. They couldn't even be bothered to finish building the M62 into it.
