  • Well actually I don't think she can read yet, though she may be hiding it. She often says she can't count to ten though I have seen her count to twenty when she thought I wasn't watching..

  • then just be thankful that no illustrators would touch this project

  • Imagine the injunctions!

Look what I discovered this morning, it seems you have a young fan!

When do I sue for damages?

Good god! My worst night mares come true!

Didn't you know if you expose children to Pantone Blues they become Gremlins???

  • luckily luci's writing style of hiding his filth in slanderous similes and mucky metaphors should mean they havn't a clue what he's gibbering on about.

No-one has a clue what I'm gibbering on about, least of all me.

  • I thought innuendo was an Italian suppository until I read some of Luci's work.

  • What time do you want me to put the kettle on, Clive, on the 19th of Dec? Tea for 3000 is it? Milk and sugar?

  • As Camilla will be back in London by then as as they have just announced a severely restricted ticket allocation and as I have work obligations, I shall probably not struggle up to Leeds. I shall plug you in my weather forecast though.

Green tea ALWAYS. No milk. No sugar.

  • I introduced my dad to Pantone Blues while I was up home over Xmas, very amused he was. Second story he read was A Doffer you can't Refuse, turns out him and my mum used to drink in the Belle Vue when they taught at the old Belle Vue school back in the early '70s. #csb

I didn't ask if either the pork pies or any of their other offerings were any good back then.

  • I got my best mate and brother a copy of Pantone Blues for their Christmas, they both absolutely loved it. Chapeau Lucifer :)

  • I lent Pantone Blues to a friend because I knew he'd love it, he did and bought one for a friend to pass on the lols.

I bet it was pretty different then to when I used to go.

It's even more different now - it's a Sikh Temple.

Great stuff! The more the merrier!

Cheers for buying those, mi7rennie. I'm well pleased they liked it!

  • Man......scoble's review!

Get that in the next book somewhere.........

  • It's gold, isn't it? It might have to go on the back page of the revised edition.

  • A 'virtual' character, maybe?
    :0)

  • Aside from the obvious "pantone blues" my need for a bleak outlook on working life is also coming from my friends collective grim blog. http://officebantbant.com/

Sorry for spamming, the content just seems very relevant, also I'm featured in one post. I'll be sharing pantone blues amongst them, I don't like them enough to buy them a copy, but they can borrow my copy.

  • If you don't like them, buy them copies and place them in your debt. If you like them more than you like Luci, loan them your copy and deprive Luci of his royalties.

  • I read Feeling Remote last night (whilst on the bog of course) and had tears rolling down my eyes by the end. I'd either missed it on the blog or forgotten it, either way it is superbly written.

    Thanks Luci, great work.

  • Cheers mate! I've actually picked up a couple of new tales recently, just trying to find time to write.

Got quite a lot going on at the moment, potential house move, job stuff, things like that.

It's good to know the stories can still raise a titter!
