  • I've also just picked up the One-one knee warmers. Was worried that they would bunch up behind the knee as they're not articulated - but they're lovely :)

  • Sale on at finisterre till midnight tonight. Lots of baselayers etc. http://www.finisterreuk.com

Baselayer ordered - cheers for the heads up...

  • I bought a Planet X / On one merino baselayer - really impressed. Incredible value at £30.

I was going to do some shopping on the P-X website - is the fit of the long sleeves pretty decent? i.e., decent sleeve length, reasonably close fit etc. I'm a skinny long-limbed type.

  • They come up big (on one are an MTB brand after all) - I would go a size down. I'm normally a large but the large is quite loose on me - will get a medium next time.

  • Loads of length in the arms and body though

  • ok, thanks dan. let's see if they do XS then!

  • Finisterre Eddy baselayer has arrived and feels very good - bit of a bargain at sale prices. Light and warm and appears well made. The fit is on the more relaxed side as you'd expect.

I got the stripy one, all I need now is a beret and string of onions

  • Tk maxx in Brixton had a bunch of nice Australian merino wool base layers for £19.99

  • Had like in I bought them all or is that my English?

  • Could be my eyes.

  • Planet X are using same manufacturer as Endura for merino and the armwarmers are identical

  • I've lost my planet X armwarmers, they were nice and cheap... might just have to get some more. where do these things go?
edit: it was the On-One ones, not the Planet X. £5!
although always too tempting to buy another £15 worth of stuff just to get free postage. hmm.

  • has the Pink / Peta / merino vid been posted here yet?

  • Finisterre are really good, but they don't seem to do the base with the half zip any longer - they are the most useful, for venting quickly - shame

  • Anyone know of any good deals on girls merino base layers?

I know it's optimistic given the time of year.

Not sure if you can access this but Helly Hanson is offering 50% discount using the NHSVIP50 code at the check out, is it worth looking at base layers with 50% off?
