Nice! Has to be a french design? (And not just because of the Tricolore...)
Yes, it's a very small serie that unfortunately ran out of business. It's a Bee 6.50, a familly friendly sportboat. It's a fun boat to sail but the quality/design of the equipment is sometimes frustrating and there is a lot to learn to avoid mishaps. I'll need to tweak it a bit in the future to make it more user-friendly for my parents to just jump on-board, and go for a relaxed sail around.

Looks like fun! I guessed french because there's something distinctly classe 6.50 about it - must have stacks of form stability.

yup, the planing is delicious, but you have to help it roll massively in light winds to reduce it's wet surface area, takes a bit of time to figure it out.
It's got 2 doors as well, one is used for the Spiny, always ready... -

I bet! We have enough trouble with the J so I bet that's hard work. Bow entry looks quite fine so I guess you can't just throw people forward - we're pretty full on the bow so we can push weight forward without too many problems.

Boat went in the other day after a truly epic winter's work. First race on sunday and knocked in a decent result. Offshore series starts in a few weeks, hopefully we're in pretty good shape!

The lee valley whitewater centre should be open in a week or so, any kayakers or ex kayakers fancy heading over, I can drive and am a fairly confident kayaker although I havent been for quite a while. I will probably mess around on the intermediate course for a few hours to get some confidense back then hit the advanced section which is meant to be fairly pushy.

Had go at SUP boarding last week. Easy on lagoon, not so easy in the sea. Fun.

Anyone row on the Lee? I see boats going up and down in the morning, and was interested in giving it a go.
Also, sailing looks awesome. I want to do that too.

I don't like boats right now, outboard is broken and therefore is house bound :(
