If you come to mine @ 8, we can loosen them and put washers in for now if you like...

Mate, that's a great offer, but I was up at five and I'm shattered now. Going to crash out. Been a funny week. How'd that thing go today?
You still coming to fireworks? Will drop tix off at yours in the morning. Will also drill those damn bolts out so I can catch up with you's all.

Hahaha, I been up since half four. Lame excuse. Hehe!
Yeah sweet. What time we all off to the fun fair? Well looking forward to the fireworks!
Don't drill em. They came out fine, just didn't seem to tighten up easily!

Got a new set ready to go on, bike is washed and drying in the garage, new chain waiting as well...
Tomorrow I get to ride something that isn't a 45kg Dutch bike. Hooray.

OK, well the rain washed out Friday's ride, so last night Dom and I endured an evily misty and cold ride out to North Walsham.
Rode out past the Airport on the Cromer Rd to Hainford. Man it was foggy along that stretch of main road, and fuckin scary at times! Cut through the backroads then in a blanket of fog through Stratton, Buxton, Tuttington (where dom decided to drop his light, run it over and deem it as useless, twat!) etc til we got to North Walsham @ 9:30. Stopped in at the Orchard Gardens for a few jars, a few games of pool and a chance to dry out the multiple layers we needed to endure the weather!

After drinks we headed through North Walsham to the Yarmouth Road. Was nice, clear but very cold. Thacked it out to the Bacton Gas Terminals, then turned off to Wroxham and back to Norwich... Good ride, if not a bit cold! 39 miles @ and average of 17mph. Cheers Dom!

Anyone riding tomorrow?
Was going to try and ride as haven't been out with you guys yet, its only been 3 months. Have the day off and was thinking about going out on my own during the brief period of sunlight at my own pace.
I currently ride about 10 miles a day to get to work and back. I'm doing about 25 minutes each way throught the city with traffic. Would like to raise my game as I have the feeling that I probably couldn't keep up.
Anyone suggest a decent 20 - 25 mile ride I could try in the day? Scenic would be nice. Somewhere you can keep going without hitting lights.

I shall be riding tomorrow evening... Rain or shine as always...
I always recomend a good pootle out through Stoke Holy Cross then round through Poringland, over towards Loddon and back through Kirby Bedon etc. Try using www.Bikely.com to plot a route that you loosely know. Out to Wymondham via Little Melton.
Always a good blast. The best thing to do is to just go explore...

Actually, the best thing to do would be just come along and get involved. We will always slow down for anyone, and always look out for each other.
Who is up for tomorrow evening then?
-
• #1241
Might do a short ride in the day and come along in the evening. Involved is the answer.

That's what I like to hear...

Same again next week? Need to get some good old winter training in
I forgot - my chainring bolts are still loose. Can try and drill them out when I get home, but will need a new set. Anyone got spares or know where I can get them?
