Hmm I don't think so. I think it's "ok". It looks pretty shite compared to my heavily modified Skyrim. But then again, the PS3 is no where near the same grunt.
Shame Rockstar have already said no to PS4/Xbone version.

Have you considered video game training?

• #8754
Wait, what? I thought there were guaranteed ports to next gen consoles??

My girlfriend accidentally left me loitering in Morrisons, sadly they didn't have any in stock.

they just made $800m on gtaV already they're off to the bahamas for a bit. next gen can wait.
-
• #8757
How much of that is profit though?
How much does it cost to make a game like GTAV? I have no idea.

• #8758
Should have bought shares in Rockstar...

$200 - 300 million...
Crazy

They'd already made that money back by the time it was released.

Well people are predicting the death of movies becuase of this. Thing is, sure $800m on launch, a bump at xmas and dead the rest of the time. Minor bump when they release DLC/GOTY versions. Movies on the other hand continue to rake in money for a long time.
Once the gaming industry figures out how to do that as well, then it's going to be a golden era for video games.

Oh I'm sorry, was $500 million not enough?

GTA5 - at 22% already - landing a plane is hard, took me a few goes.
-
• #8765
38% now.... it's a fucking good game.

Piss off - stop rubbing it in! (I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered - first time ever used Amazon to buy a game - won't do it again).

Someone send me £40 so I can join in.

I'm going to buy a used copy when some of these millions of copies begin to enter the resell market.
Maybe. I still need to get Skyrim and that's already cheap.
-

Ooh, I have that and ain't played it for a while, I should finish it, and finish New Vegas, although I've reached the max level now so have lost a little interest, might just polish off the main story line and stop getting distracted by side quests.

with skyrim it's best to get the legendary edition as it has all the DLC included which is still quite spendy.
it's at £25 now as I've already played it using lovefilm rental i'm waiting for it to hit sub £20 before I buy.

Just don't play it on a damn console, seriously. It just won't do it justice at all.
Also, got a copy, you'd have to borrow my Steam account though, and not even sure that's possible across different IP's.... or something

consoles are for gaming, computers for interwebs and prawns
bollocks to minimum system requirements and all that. i don't need a £1k gaming machine.
-
• #8773
I'd rather play games on PC, but I don't have anything approaching a gaming PC.

Also, why the fuck is the aiming dot basically 1 pixel ? fucking hard to see on a TV.
In the display settings you can change this, it's under aim or something and you change it to complex - just adds a ring around the dot, which I find helps, the single dot target was pretty useless for me too.

Then don't buy one. I built mine for about £500 and it plays Skyrim pretty much at full tilt. No 16xAA mind you but I'm not prepared to buy a £500 graffics card just for that...
GTA5 is indeed fucking amazing and brilliantly enjoyable.
Bizarrely people treat cyclists really well on the road more than Londoners.
Scenery is beautiful, just when I thought RDR/Fallout was stunning, GTA5 is awestruck.
