yeah me too. Except this time I'm just playing through without worrying about missing stuff out. My last few play throughs were quite stressful trying to not miss anything but this time I've learned to chill out a bit.

I got Skyrim yesterday, 7.50!
I don't really get it, can I just do my own thing? I got lost pretty much straight away and ended up in a cave of never endingness

Been playing it (Dragons Dogma) for a couple weeks, really enjoying it. Feels kind of similar(ish) to Dark souls in some ways, especially if you jump into the dark arisen content at a low level.

pretty much yeah. Talk to everyone in the towns and you'll very quickly get a million quests. The caves and that are usually pretty short and you come out the same entrance where you started so are good for leveling up and looting. Saying that, don't pick up everything, only high value, lightweight items. Once you have discovered somewhere you can fast travel back to it by clicking on it on the map, so don't worry about not exploring everything straight away.

also it's worth grinding out the blacksmith perk. google it for the exact instructions.
being able to smith your own daedric armour is well worth it later in the game.

Just finished Dishonoured with Clean Hands and Ghost, took me three playthroughs of the final mission to work out why I ended up with 1 kill :/
Stabby stabby mode now.

FWIW I made it 2/3 the way through the first mission before deciding it was a lot less fun. I think the only mission I've enjoyed killing people was the final one in the Knife of Dunwall DLC, where I killed everyone without being seen.
Now playing Serious Sam 3 - its quite a change in play style !

Any good and difficult fps games on Steam? I like playing the cod games on veteran but don't fancy buying them all again for PC.

Also worth checking out the S.T.E.P Project for Skyrim (if you have PC version). It's all about tarting Skyrim up so it looks a LOT better.

I've implemented most of it (inc optionals). I'm doing Clothing etc.. .tonight. So far no real slow down that I've noticed. FRAPS says 30->45 outside, and normally a solid 60 fps in dungeons. Looks stunning now though. I've gone for a mixture of 2k and 1k textures. 2k on things I think I'll see, and 1k for minor changes.

New Humble Bundle ( www.humblebundle.com ) is pretty good. It's from EA and is:
Dead Space
Dead Space 3 (no 2 ... wonder why)
Burnout Paradise
Crysis 2 Max Edition
Medal of Honor
Mirrors Edge
Sims 3 Starter Pack
Battlefield 3
Sims 3 Date Night DLC -

Just preordered Payday 2 for Xbox 360. After long time FPS, that actually looks like real fun (especially in coop).
On zavvi just 23£...
