  • Playing through the Mass Effect trilogy for the first time.
Pretty fun, not getting much sleep though.

  • Mass Effect was good- second one got a little better but still had a few meh points where I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue.

Pretty much how I'm feeling with Fable 3 now.

Hatbeard - I'm at the same bit, pointlessly wasting time so I can make more money in the game.

  • My girlfriend is going on maternity leave soon and she expressed an interest in a bit of gaming. I'm after some ideas on a couple of games she might enjoy on 360/Xbox/PS2/PSX.

She told me she liked playing Crash Bandicoot when she was younger, so I Downloaded all the Crash games for my PS2. Are there any other similar platformer-type games? Anything like that on Xbox/360?

Multiplayer/Co-op would also be a plus.

  • Is Super Monkey Ball on the PS2 any good?

  • Do not let her play Fallout.

  • Is Super Monkey Ball on the PS2 any good?

It's pretty awesome fun, lots of mini-games too.

  • She might like Rayman origins - I got it for my son to try and get him away from COD and other games of violence (it didn't work) but I quite like the game.

    Good luck with baby too.

  • How do you download ps2 games to play on the console?

  • Oh and this is well worth buying;

SEGA Mega Drive: Ultimate Collection (Xbox 360): Amazon.co.uk: PC & Video Games

So much fun to be had on this!

  • How do you download ps2 games to play on the console?

Had someone fit a Matrix Infinity modchip to it. Simply burn the iso to DVD/CD.

Thanks for the suggestions. Is 'Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts' on the 360 any good?

  • That chip sounds awesome.

Also check out Crash Bandicoot on the Xbox I think it's on arcade.

I prefer playing platform games, reminds me of a much better time of gaming!

This. Kid Chameleon was and still is one of my favourite games!

  • me and my cousins used to get in some epic brawls over the pronunciation of kid chameleon. they were adamant it was 'cham'* 'el' 'on' whereas I quite rightly posited it was pronounced the exact fucking same way as the animal on which his skills were based. being the eldest and wisest I would get them in headlocks and arm bars until they agreed, until the next time.

however we all know chuck-d-headdecapattack was superior to kid chameleon anyways.

    *as in cham-pion

  • Play Dr. Robonitics mean bean machine.

That game is as hard as nails and I have to admit Mrs. Spenceey is a bloody mile better at it than me. I even asked her to complete it so I could get the achievement points!

  • Has anyone got any suggestions for some PC games to stretch my new rig when it arrives?

I'm a bit out of the PC gaming loop since only owning consoles for the last god knows how many years.

I think C&C red alert might have been my last PC game :/

Actually, that can't be true. Operation flashpoint?

  • Skyrim!

    Crysis 3.

  • Crysis 3.

As long as you've got a Radeon HD 7950 with Boost or a GeForce GTX 660 Ti!

  • Microsoft scraps both online check-in and all disc licensing DRM for the One.... http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/19/xbox-one-drm-used-games-reversal/

The Next Gen war is back on. Glad I pre-ordered my Xbox One already :)

  • "An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.

Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360."

Much better, now leaning toward the Xbox One.

Still fancy a PS3 just because of The Last of Us, and Beyond: Two Souls

  • well it will be 100% back on if they ditch the kinect requirement (which apparently breaks US law, irony given the NSA).

Also, it seems MS have much lower amount of stock available for launch compared to PS4. So even if they want to win, they won't be able to sell as many

  • The BIGGEST plus for Xbox (for me anyway) is that you can move around the world and keep one Xbox Live account. I now have two PS accounts because apparently Sony can't handle me moving from EU to US.

  • I am loving the comment section;

microsoft you sudnt have taken out the drm, it is your job to mak eesure people arent pirateing games . what next you gonna take out parental controls and then little kid can play heavy rain that game has porn in it

i appreceate microsoft keeps us honest before now they acting like they just dont care . just like all the othe r companys

  • Oh and Titanfall is coming for PC, so I've 0 use for an XB1
