Like the first Bioshock game only ascending up to the sky rather than descending under the sea. Same vibe though. Hope the puzzles get more difficult

NeoGeo is back! My mate had one of these in about 1993 – the games were ridiculously expensive as they were imports. BUT, it was the best gaming experience outside of an arcade! Seriously tempted! King of the Monsters was so hardcore!

I've been playing the hell out of Borderlands 2 on pc lately. Don't know why that's sunk it's hooks into me so much as I didn't like the first one and only got this as it was on sale.
Haven't even touched Far Cry 3 because of it.

^ two missions from the end of the story on Xbox at the moment.
I seem to play it in bursts... not played for a week now but last time i played it for a couple of hours a day for a week straight.

I actually think Far Cry 3 is better than the original Far Cry, it's based on a similar landscape as the original (on an island with abandon Japanese WW2 building, ancient temple, etc.), but with some feature of Far Cry 2, it's even better.
The story is a bit American adventure/thriller budget movie, but still largely enjoyable with proper cringe worthy dialogue and a decent range of side mission (surprisingly similar to Red Dead Redemption but not as polished).
If you don't like Far Cry 2, you'll love Far Cry 3.

I didn't much like Far Cry 2 and was left distinctly underwhelmed by Far Cry 3. Not particularly challenging, repetitive, and for a supposed sandbox game, little of interest outside the main story.
The original was awesome. Better than either Crysis as well.

Sadists, Demon Souls is being PS+ed this month.
Apparently is harder/ less user friendly than Dark Souls... -

I just don't get all the love for Dishonored. I wanted to like it and I really tried to, but it just ended up feeling dull. I played it all the way through as a sneaky type and had to force myself to really finish it up. The cities just felt lifeless and small. I used blink more than anything else because it was the most powerful.
There were some good ideas there and the story and world was neat but could have been more interesting.
It's in my steam library but I doubt I'll ever revisit it. I have no idea how trades work on Steam, but I should trade it.

Can you trade something once you've played it? I always thought with steam you'd buy a game to go in your games or a game to go in your inventory.
Maybe I'm wrong.
-
• #7341
Maybe, I really don't know. It might be the case because so many complain about not 'owning' games on Steam because you can't resell them.
I've never traded or looked at how it is done.

Me neither - but in related news I always have people message me about those damn Mac Earbuds. Someone offered me £30 for them!!!!
I've bought games for friends (as gifts) but never traded them.

I don't know what all the faff is about them. Although I have started playing TF2 more now. Until we move house and I'm busy for ages!

I blew motherfucking Three Dog away and felt sad, made the waste SO much more bleak

I bet you sold the Stradivarius to a wastelander too.

I recently had someone asking me for some tf2 items too.

Hmm... Is there any way I can give games away that I own on Steam? I have quite a few that I don't play and won't go back to. Seems silly to just have them in my library if that is the case.

Dibs.
in NHL '97 on the PS1 the only way to score was to go to the edge of the goal box, then go vertically towards the center then shoot, it was the only way but also a guaranteed goal. There was also a button that made your character lie down, tripping up whoever was skating towards them. That game was great.
