That's why it's pointless.

Diablo 3 beta... sorted, don't mind if I do.
The downside to this all, I have to take notes and write stuff about it... might start dictating while playing.

Kirth - wow. Is it a public beta?
-
• #3680
I'll be on this evening if you fancy a bit of a laugh at me attempting to throw a flashbang through a window and it coming back towards us!!
I might be online, might go to north beers.

Kirth - wow. Is it a public beta?
Yes, but it's family/friends/press/famous people first (I shit you not about the famous people).
They just staggering the entry, think it started a week ago.

if there's a spare spot I could take lots of notes.

Just got a mail with the Battlefield 3 beta key. Between that, North Drinks and the Champions League this evening is gonna be a bit of a struggle. At least they all involve beer.

Just logged in to Steam hit me up if you want a game tonight; ID - spankyz

Oh, I'm DrMrak on Onlive. I added you, Kirth.
-
• #3689
onlive doesn't have many games does it?
-
• #3690
Not loads. Not like Steam. But there are enough to keep me interested for now. And I don't see any reason why it won't continue to grow.
-
• #3691
Do you reckon it will get console games so you can play them on your PC, or is that mental?
obviously with the right controller
-
• #3692
It has a console version, so I wouldn't be surprised. That being said, I wouldn't be entirely shocked if console companies themselves start refusing licenses to companies who also put their games on Onlive (just like that game chain in the US stopped selling Deus Ex: HR because it included an Onlive voucher [after they, first, opened all the boxes and took the vouchers out]).

I have OnLive on my Mac and all it did was make me buy Deus Ex for my Xbox. I'm so used to playing games on the sofa with a good controller that using a mouse and keyboard just doesn't seem right any more.

If I could do it again, I would have waited (yeah right) for Onlive and got it off of there (my computer is not good enough to play any decent modern video games)! I much rather WASD + mouse my way around game environments.

• #3695
I'm kind of annoyed that the two biggest games on OnLive also happen to be the two games that I just bought and played through. I don't really want to waste my £1 on a game I've already played... hmm dilemma.
-
• #3696
Whats the other biggest game?
-
• #3697
well that's probably a matter of opinion, but the one I meant was WH40K: Space Marine.
...on that note, is anyone else playing through it?
I'm not ashamed to say that I am absolutely loving it. The execution animations do get a bit boring at times, but if you strip away the WH40K environment, it still shines out as a really great 3rd person shooter.
The different enemy types really force you to think carefully about whether to go for melee or ranged, and it's got a great pace for drip-feeding you new and ever more awesome weapons and bonuses.

Just ordered battlefield 3 limited edition for £20 for the xbox. I'm sure I'll end up buying the PC one as well but that'll be off steam in a few months.

How?

Then sign up for video gamer.com to get another £2 off. I then used top cash back and got another £2 so actually only paid 18!
its kind of pointless because you can't wear it
