Pah Battlefield 3 will top COD. I promise you. This is the first year I'm not going to buy a COD game.

Saying that I think I'll play some Black Ops tonight, really fancied some MW2 as well recently.

NHL 12 came out today (I believe). Off to see if I can download it from Live...

Yep, 1 safe landing in 162 attempts. I find it ridiculously addictive though.

Playing Mass Effect 2 a lot over the weekend. Serious hooked on it now. Almost recruited everyone although I I've got one mission where I failed on the loyalty and can't go back to re do it (unless that's part of the story?)

Also;
I've got my xbox plugged in to my 22inch monitor up stairs and the quality is even better that our 32 samsung downstairs. Also means I keep Mrs. Spenceey happy as she can watch what she likes whilst I sit upstairs and swear at aliens.

Anyone played Civ 5 long enough to tell me thumbs up or thumbs down, major pros major cons etc.?

I've played it for about 2hrs before on a mates pc, it looked great, but I didnt really trust his hugely biased towards strategy games review of it.

I only ask because it's on Steam for £7.50 till Monday ;)

Been replaying Oblivion again recently and the Skyrim vids make it look crap.

I might have to take a month off work for skyrim. Looks like it's going to eat my life.

Completed the suicidal mission on Mass Effect 2 last night. Now that was seriously epic. I kept telling myself I'd stop playing in a minute, it got to 1am and I'd completed it, I still couldn't sleep! I'll try and do a few of the side missions tonight, or just play some BF online.

Not sure how many of you play Trion games ( Rift, End of Nations, Defiance ), but I'll ask anyway.

I'm off to MCM Expo in Oct as well...

The downside is, I was paid to be in the US as it was my main job (not the gaming), but the gaming stuff is all free (atm). Still, it IS good fun, and I like meeting the dev's etc...
