I just finished the Honest Hearts DLC for FONV. It took about 8 hours in total but I tried to explore everything and find all the side quests. Still probably missed a few locations but a lot of them were really just map markers with nothing worth seeing.
The best bit was the story of the Survivalist which you can find scattered through various caves. Zion is a decent location if you're character has focused on the Survival and melee skill. Some good chems and poisons can be made there and the tomahawk is a good weapon. On hardcore this helps a lot as there is a limit on how much you can bring in.
Biggest disappointment was that the missions were all rather boring and none of them stood out. The voices and dialogue of the Tribals were painfully anachronistic; think of any Indian in any John Wayne western because that's what the devs did. The location was pretty enough, but I missed radioactive areas and ruined buildings. I had also hoped the Burned Man would be a more compelling character since he'd been built up a bit in the game.
Overall it was interesting enough with a light dusting of theology focusing on Christianity and the Mormons, but I doubt I'll find any reason to return.

For gaming does anyone think that either of these HD Tv's will be fine and if one is better than t'other

I have the 46" version of the Samsung and the colours are fantastic! I've also found the LG models to look a washed out unless set up exactly right.
£260 is a good price as well...

Bought the 32" samsung - http://www.richersounds.com/product/.../sams-le32c530
set it up last night and killed a lot of people on COD. Am a happy bunny. Looking forward to getting tucked in to some of the other games I have to see the graphics in full HD. Any games particularly stunning?

^ Chrysis 2 is stunning, if a bit flawed in the story and gameplay lagging. Cheap now too

Agree Crysis 2 gives you a super hero vibe with the invisibility cloak and the body shield. And it looks amazing. It is a bit like deus ex without the heavy rpg elements. Great fun and strategic

Beat Fable 3 last night. I sort of enjoyed the whole revolution thing, but not nearly enough side quests. Not even close. And I have no idea where the fuck the main enemy came from. That was a sort of "this games too short. I know, let's add this!" type thing.

Fable 3 makes me sad. Full of great ideas, clearly put together by an exceptionally talented team at the top of their game, great voice acting and genuinely funny in places, and yet..

The second half became so linear, and completely unpredictable (as to when it would end). You're told you have a year, but you don't really have any way of judging when that will be up. I could have milked a shit load of money out of my many tenants, but had no idea when I needed to fill the coffer by.
Although the game did make me laugh a few times, which was cool. But it was so inconsistent.

Can wait for the DLC about the courier with the flag of the old world on his back, something I've been aching to find out about after talking to the bloke who run the Mojave Express at Primm.

LA Noire is pretty awesome, I'm loving how beautiful it is (and 3 DVDS?? that's a lots of games), the character emotion are wonderfully spot on.
it's not perfect, the storyline is quite mellow with a twist of 40's cop b-movie, did not like how quickly he moved from police officer to top of his games, seemed odd and out of space for such a realistic looking games with beautiful facial animation.
Rockstar should've concentrate on games like LA Noire rather than trying to reproduced GTA over and over again, it's nice to not constantly relied on cars all the time.

I don't understnad, you go to all the trouble to use apostrophes, but then you seem to wilfully fek the rest of it up.

I'm sorry?

sorry didnt mean to sound confrontational.
played crysis 2 yesterday. Boring

LA Noire is starting to get repetitive now, the early start from police officer to traffic is great, but after getting into homicide, it start to get all similar not the murder case but the questioning, the train of though etc.
But then, police work can be repetitive, following the same procedure is to be expected from a good boy scout.
Like other has said, what kept me playing is the wonderful graphic and hard to read facial animation as well as the vague but interesting storyline in true movie style.
Great games but felt quite restricted, especially when interviewing suspect and the like.

anyone played assassin's creed brotherhood? i kinda fancy it, but the first game put me off as it was a bit like LA noire, looked great but very repetitive.

the missus had tried the first game, she loved it, but incredibly repetitive.
Brotherhood is AFAIK, less repetitive.

Best to play Assassin's Creed 2 first - Brotherhood is a follow-on from that story. Both are awesome, beautiful games. Nowhere near as repetitive as AC1.

Loved AC2...hated AC1. 2 is a fantastic game, so I can only imagine brotherhood is better.

Brotherhood is amazing too. MIssions are interesting but I was just in awe at being able to clamber around Rome c.1490. Beautiful.
Can't wait for AC:Revelations. I think it's set in Constantinople with a bit of 12th century Holy Land too.
