San Andreas was quite cheap for a while. Always worth comparing though.

Started NV Tue weekend, not sure how to develop the character. Usually focus on strength, lockpick and medical, and turn evil as soon as possible.
I am happy killing innocents and robbing everyone blind. Muchos fun

The story arcs for the good guys always seem more fun.
If it's a decent game, though, it will be worth replaying and taking a different path.
And there's always the games where you can complete a level / task / mission, and then go on a rampage and slaughter anything that moves.
Right - I need a game to play. Just finished Bioshock2 - What should be on my shopping list?
Just Cause 2?
Not only do you have to kill anything that moves you also actively encouraged to destroy buildings, of which there are many, too.

It's only a gameThis time improved my interpersonal skills with high speech opening up some side quests and easy wins. Also bumped my stealth stats to almost invisibility. Behaved well so far and plan to wreak evil havock when i'm ultra powerful (or may not). I find LV much more fun than fallout 3

i prefered fallout 3, so far.
but then i had GOTY and rocked power armour from the start (well, do Operation Anchorage as soon as you leave the vault then your sorted)I think NV will get better the more factions come into play.

Classic tune for you all:
YouTube - C&C Red Alert music (Hell March)

Where's the fun in having the best armour from the start?
-
• #2240
Halfway (or so) through playing F.E.A.R. 2.
something about that games doesn't grab me, seemed to be a bit of a repetitive first person shoot-em up with amazingly easy puzzle.

So they've released Mass Effect 2 on the PS3, and that pretty much leaves HALO as the only xbox only franchise on the market.
I love my xbox, but I had to get the PS3 for the exclusive titles. Uncharted was worth every penny spent on the PS3 alone.
I can't see Gran Tourismo or Little Big Planet being switched the other way anytime soon, so do you think xbox will start to loose ground unless they get some top exclusives this year.
Alan Wake...
I know we usually just say how awesome our games are, and in know xbox's out weigh PS3's around here, but it would be interesting to see what people think.

If you buying it for the online capabilities xbox wins hands down. Gran Tourismo has been a let down, forza series wins there for me.

When you say on-line, do you mean the live gameplay?
I think the on-line content offered on PSN is better, and free.

For example? I'm pretty sure all the premium content is the same as the 360 and at the same price point (roughly). Willing to be stood corrected though.
I have to say that I'm not really a fan of DLC. These days its mostly announced before the games are even out, and comes so thick and fast. The only DLC I've ever deemed worth it is Battlefield BC2 : Vietnam. I find stuff thats "an extra mission here" or "an extra weapon there" to be a bit of a rip off. You can't help but feel that they've made it all, then chop parts out to resell as DLC.
I do however love Xbox Arcade. I'm not sure what the Playstation equivalent is like, but there are some real crackers on there.

DLC really comes into it's own with FPS multiplayer shooters. I'm talking specifically about MW2 here.
-
• #2246
Crisp - the MW2 DLC was both overpriced and pants!
The Vietnam DLC for battlefield was brilliant and cost the same, it was basically a whole new game!

Also Xbox has party chat, party invite - such great features.

I've never really been much of an online gamer. I follow the narrative, and then take the game down to my local exchange...
the movie content on live is dire, and they backed sky player (more money).
PSN gives you iplayer, 4od and ITV player for what it's worth.
Blueray is a plus too.
I sound so one sided now... Live improved a lot over the years.

^You've almost convinced me to change after years of xboxfanboyhood
Free games on PSN? and uncharted, demons souls and LBP.. -

This would be great on the xbox too.
probably, will have to see how much it is there, some good gems like the original Bioshock were only £10 there.
