  • After completing Uncharted 2, fallout NV will be my next undertaking.

Not sure what can match up to uncharted though. with 11 months to kill until the next one, I'm hoping fallout will fill some of that time.

  • Forza 3, that game has me hooked at the moment. Can't put it down.

FNV should fill about 6 months if you play play it properly.

  • Does anyone have a copy of Lego Indiana Jones for the wii I could borrow please? Can give it back start of next week.

  • mmorpg?

  • Yep :)

Not sure how it'll work with 2000 Superman's. Maybe you create your own character? CYOAman?

  • mmorpg?

    Looks like it...
    Who gets to be wonderwoman?

  • im just loving AC brotherhood at the moment! great game!

Awesome game, got seriousley addicted for a week or so. Fully recomended. I hadn't played AC2 so it tool me about 5hrs to figure out what was going on.

  • Any Street Fighter 4 players here? I'm getting back into it. Was in the Casino on Tottenham Court Road last night getting schooled.

  • For interested L4D2 parties: I was just playing left4dead2 and in the first round our tank was afk, someone said this on all chat and Bill went and chainsawed the tank.

I told Bill he was being a dick, it turned out he was an outed and practicing dickhead.

Long story short, my team left, but I stayed and got my vengence on bill. In final round I became tank 1 v 4 and done them all.

Bill remained silent; fuck you Bill

  • Playing fall out new vegas which is engrossing compelling. Trouble is I can't be bad. I plan to seal loads of stuff, murder a couple of innocents be mean and nasty but can't. I do a couple of nasty things then end up choosing the good things...

Is it me or is the game designed to coerce people to interact with the world as a do gooder?
Any recommendations of games where it really pays to be bad?

  • I think it's nice that videogames made you think about your choice and end up feeling bad for doing bad thing.

I remember I accidentally harvest a Little Sister and never felt so bad afterware.

I don't think there's any games that have a morality where it pay to be bad without feeling bad about it.

  • Bioshock infinite!

  • In all seriousness, I have metro 2033, which I enjoy playing (partly because I like the Russian reference, the metro, etc.) which may be depressing for some.

  • With ed re metro 2033 looks wondefully oppressive... was underrated

I'm in New Vegas (That's Fallout) Seeking a prostitute ghoul who doesn't mind servicing humans with unusual tastes. Should get a good reward and may ask the ghoul for a service myself if I find an empty room in the local motel...

  • One thing I like about Metro 2033 is the lack of HUD display, it was somewhat freeing not to constantly look at the health bar for instance.

The bullet is another favourite, ammo is so sarced that military graded one (as oppose to handmade one) were used as currenty (or weapon if you like).

Going to have to try out fallout NV, sound even more interesting than I first though of it.

    ...there was a free room

  • I'm not a big gamer, 2 games I played recently.

Mafia 2 - really enjoyed this, pretty good story line, good soundtrack 8.5/10

Saints Row - oh my goat how shit is this game? what were they thinking?! 2/10

  • I don't even need to play Saints Row to know how crap it is.

After playing the GTA 3D series, it's hard to take other sandbox games that seriously (well, apart from Red Dead, that was great).

  • Don't know what I was expecting from Saints Row, I didn't realise they still released such appalling games.

Mafia 2 is def worth a go. Like GTA but more of a set story line. A bit like playing a part in a film.

  • FNV is REALLY sensitive to the choices you make too. I've been playing it good, but have inadvertently become hated by the Legion. I can trick them into not attacking me by wearing their garb, but their dogs and named NPCs suss me out.

Likewise the Rangers. I'm all cool with the NCR, but the Rangers attack on sight. I can't attack as it'll affect my reputation with the NCR.

It's weird though, as you become hardened you take liberties. Like I wanted a Ranger outfit (the one that's on the title screen), so I got busy with a silenced sniper rifle and picked one off in his lookout. I think this might have contributed to their hatred of me.

To be honest it's so engrossing I'm inclined to not even play the missions. If it was real life I'd fuck the war and just hole up with the Brotherhood. They've got a secret bunker for shelter, big guns, cool armour and no inclination to interact with the rest of the Wasteland scum. Either that or go native, move into an abandoned shack, feed myself by picking off mole rats with a Varmint Rifle, and make a few caps on the side by selling the hides. Sweet and simple.

  • Right - I need a game to play. Just finished Bioshock2 - What should be on my shopping list?

Mass Effect 2 - Easily one of the best games I've ever played.

Also I might have to pick up New Vegas, I quite enjoyed fallout 3 but was quite bored after I completed the story line.

  • Getting more interested in FNV, let see if it's in Xbox marketplace...

  • xbox marketplace will probably be the most expensive place that you can buy it.
