PS: Still completely hooked on Zelda...
It's very addictive. I'm 4/5ths of the way through the main quest (I think), but climbing, flying, horsing, swimming, snowboarding keep distracting me in various ways.

Just found out that if you go under your profile on Switch, under "Play Activity" it tells you how many hours you've played each game.
Under Zelda got "Played for 110 hours or more".

I haven't managed to play it at all in over a week now. I'm only at about 60 hours but managed to do over 100 shrines, 3 divine beasts and collect all the armour sets.
Guess i'd better get on with the story at some point...

I'm on the Wii U but there's probably something similar.
Edit: there is, in the "daily usage log". I don't want to check...

"Played for 110 hours or more - would you like us to send for help?".

I've been very good and managed to avoid playing it for a couple of weeks, will have to get back into it when I get the time...

Friends girlfriend is thinking about getting them a wii, as they played one a couple of years back and enjoyed it, she wants to play games as well and doesn't want it to be too spendy.
Am I right in saying she should go for a switch, which hopefully has the fun of the wii/wii u without being outdated?
Would any of you Nintendo bods recommend a wii/wii u over a switch?
Let me know.. -

There's a significant price difference, 2nd hand Wiis are under £50 with a few games, etc (I was planning to buy one for Mario Kart until I realised that I could just play it on an emulator).

yeah, but will they still make games for it? Is it now out of date? Wondering whether the Wii U or Switch would have a longer life than a 2nd hand wii?

Get a Switch...

Photo of racing wheel setup for sale in previous post...
Damn I would be ALL OVER this if it was the Playstation version :(

Yes, it'll certainly have a longer life but it's much more expensive. I'm not sure the two are that comparable.

Any hearthstone players here? It's technically a video game if it's a card game?
Really enjoying the new ungoro expansion. The new quest cards have brought a whole new meta along. I was lucky to get the warrior and mage quest in my prepurchase packs. Taunt warrior is my go to deck now. Have tried out the mage quest and pulled off a great combo for unlimited fireballs. So funny destroying everything aha

I play a lot. The new mechanics are great.

Me too. I'm really getting into project cars but am frustrated by how imprecise the controller is.

Plus @TurtleRecall
Neither of you have a PC? It's xbone / pc compatible.

Nah, well only an old PC.

I was really waiting for a Nintendo Classic to be available - you know like you could just order one on Amazon and it arrives.
Apparently that's not going to happen now:

Unusual marketing strategy. Build something everyone and their dog wants to buy, make it impossible to buy, then cancel it...

Looking to buy a Ps3 controller and cable for gaming on my Macbook, does anyone have something laying around?
-
• #17023
Not selling one but the PS3 controller & MacBook work pretty well with Bluetooth out of the box.
