ha! I may wait a bit. I've got three games for now. If I'm not careful it could be like when I got a copier for my SNES. I just stopped beating games as there was always something else to play.

I was looking at my games collection last night, i have epic amounts of unfinished business:
Batman Arkham Asylum
Far Cry 2
Fallout 3 -GOTY (main quest peviously done, 3 of 5 of the DLC still to finish)
Dead Rising 2 (on going)
Legendary (is balls, unlikely to play it again)
Bladestorm (balls again)
Red Faction Guerilla
Bioshock (love it, but never finished it)
Skate
Saw (from boomerang, so i need to finish it soonest)
My main excuse is i get easily distracted by MW2 online.
I am looking at a 7-10 day spell without broadband so i should hopefully get some done.

Probably not completed more games that i've finished. Made me wonder why.
Perhaps because games for me, unlike films and books, are not stories that need to be completed as most games (including bioshock ed) have weak narratives that are subservient to gameplay. And that gameplay is generally similar throughout the game so when bored with the graphics / move set i move on. Apart from games where the gameplay is a massive adrenalin buzz (like burnout or beyonetta)

So my xbox thinks I'm in Canada. It's because of the hotmail account I originally used to set it up. I've changed it, but it still shows content from Canada (mtv.ca) and prices for things are in $. Wtf? Anyone know how to fix this? I may want to buy some gmaes but am afraid there will be some bullshit region stuff later.

Seems like you can't change it? You need to make a new gamertag. And with that, you lose all your saved games and live subscription? Wtf? I've had this thing for two days. It forced me to give it a hotmail account so I used an old one. I haven't played that much, but I don't really want to lose my saved games already. To change your email address etc... go to Passport.net and sign up for a windows passport with your non Microsoft email address (gmail etc).

Once signed up, sign in on your xbox and go to the my xbox tab. Then click on your gamer card (the second one along) and scroll across one, again, to account management. Click on Manage account and scroll across two to Your Information then click on Windows Live ID.Once there, click on Change your windows live ID and bang. Done.

That should change your region as well.

It doesn't matter. It accepts the region linked to the first live id you enter into it. I've already changed it. There MAY be a fix on the 10th when Live goes live in a bunch of new countries, but it looks like it will only allow people to change from an established country to one of the new countries... I'll beat the games I have now and start a new gamertag I guess. So stupid.

Fucking Woolworths didn't honor the £25 off first order discount for my Call of Duty: Black Ops order. They didn't even email me to tell me it had been cancelled, I had to call them today after it didn't arrive. Twats. Did it actually work for anyone and go through for £20?

Just had a look at my Paypal account and they charged me £20 for the order even though they didn't put it through. No re-fund yet...

open a dispute, give em 24 hrs then raise it to a claim. hopefully that will prompt paypal into action

Phoned Woolworths. They cancelled the order because the code was invalid or some shit. I didn't even have to put it in, it was already there when I created the account, bastards.
