The reason I felt it was great because the sizes is big, but not too big to the point that it become tedious going from A to B via horseback, plus it's the first video games where I stop just to look at the scenery.

2033 is the first one, you can skip it, but Last Light take place after the ending of 2033.
I loved 2033 but felt quite depressing sometime, however play it in order (2033 then Last Light), as personally I think Last Light is a lots better.
But then Last Light have better subtitles so I'm skewed.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE, you can all stop worrying,
I have managed to reinstall W10 on my iMac - had to do it an arse about tit way without using any Bootcamp assistance, and my god Disk Util in 10.12 is slow as hell in resizing Core Storage, but I did it, and turned off Updates.
DL'd the only game worth playing and about to give ARMA 3 Exile a bash...

You using a Fusion drive?

Yeahhhh, which was getting well fucked BRO.
Had to split and reform.
All sorted now though.
Runs cleaner but boot takes years with W10, wonder if it creates to 10.12 changes.
Next gen rMBP better come with a decent GPU or I'm spending the money on a ticket to Cupertino to go and kick big T's ass. -

Only mentioned PS4 and Xbox One on their website...

They said the same with GTA VI before, so here's hoping that it will eventually have PC support.
It's definitely idea for the PC with the graphic.

On the plus side, when it does come out you won't have to pay £50 for it, it will look better, and not be full of bugs
-

The Xbox 360 and Xbox one versions of GTA V and the 360 version of RDR i bought weren't full of bugs.
You've got me on the £50 thing though.

I predict 39.99 on Steam with dollars/pesos or some bullshit in game currency at increments of 8GBP plus of course a 'season pass' for 29.99 or 14.99 per update.

Rockstar have been aright about DLC and micro transations so far. Hopefully they will stay that way.

£50 = two restrained nights at the pub. How many nights will you spend happily lassoing outlaws, spending nowt? Video games are the biggest money saver ever.
-

This.
The annoying part of gaming these days is having to pay monthly subscriptions to play online with either of the consoles.

That, and being a massive virgin.
(As my wife so fondly calls me every time I suggest I might go play a video game in the spare room).
-

I just do it at work instead. (6 hours of Metro: Last Light today).
This knowledge and that my business is making no money at the moment are entirely unconnected.
-
• #15898
Yup. I get a lot of shit from the missus about it too.
Usually along the lines of "that year you went freelance, you just went to the studio every day to play games".
It's true and I regret nothing.

When I work from home NOTHING gets done.
100% this...

So you end up retiring with fuck all money? Spend retirement playing video games. With the Parkinson's, it'll take you forever to finish a game, and with the Alzheimer's, you can start it again and it'll be brand new. Also, your OH may be dead and won't be able to complain.
I can't fucking wait...
In other news, I've just bought Metro Last Light Redux and Metro 2033 Redux through Steam (6.75 for both atm).
Which game first - 2033? Or is Last Light so good it's worth skipping 2033?
