  • Wanna know how to enhance it further? Play it at night with the nearest table lamp you can find.

  • Graphics card arrived. Living room Steam/hack is a goer... Anyone using a steam controller? Any idea if they're as good as the PR claims?

  • Pick up the GBA Mario Kart. It's amazing, all the powerups and computer AI, but with old school graphics.

  • I've got it in a box somewhere, just can't think which one... 😬

GBA cable just arrived, charging as we speak...

  • Just this second got connected to my shiny 209mbps virgin internet (still only 12mbps upload :/)

    STEAM I'VE MISSED YOU.

  • still only 12mbps upload

    Bloody Thatcher.

  • ^ EXACTLY

  • Graphics card arrived.

What did you spring for in the end?

  • That is beautiful

    tips fedora

  • Just a GTX 950 in the end... figure DayZ is all CPU anyway. If it all works I may get carried away and get some silly i7. The OS X side is being a bore too, HDMI audio isn't playing ball. Close to nuking it and going all W10 but can't face having a Windows box in the house.

  • Got back drunk and crumbled - bought FO4 on steam... see ya in 2017.

  • Bought a PS4 as a joint present for the kids this Cristmas. Been having a blast playing Rocket League and getting my arse handed to me at Star Wars Battlefront. Thinking about picking something with local co-op. Any recommendations?

  • Any suggestions for straight forward FPS games? I don't want to build things, explore giant open worlds, control a squad, have teammates, etc.

  • Wolfenstein was fun. On sale on steam right now.

Spec ops: the line was also pretty good.

If you're up for third person, splinter cell black list was the most fun I've had shooting video game people in a long time.

  • borderlands. comes with added lols, plenty of replayability and loads of cheap as chips DLC.

  • Serious Sam? Good lols also

  • Sniper Elite 3 is a campaign based FPS, pretty good fun

  • Finally wandered into diamond city and did my second main quest last night. Level 64.

  • Seriously impressed, I went in at Level 22, and again at 32, latter give me more dialogue option (which seemed to be lacking compare to the predecessor).

  • I've been to Diamond City once, went and rescued Nick Valentine, not been back since. L36.
    Probably should go back soon.

Got fucked up by a Mirelurk Queen earlier, south of Jamaica Plain. Saw her, backed away, got tooled up (power armour, fat man) got 1 nuke off, then she came and pwned me. Need to rethink my strategy.

  • Need to rethink my strategy.

    50 fragmines.

Accidentally dosed up on Jet when about to be mauled to death by an alpha deathclaw - allowed me to let off twelve Bleeding Combat Shotgun rounds in to it at point blank, where upon it picked me up to do its fatality move then dropped me and expired.

    Good times.

Also, explosive 10mm pistol is much lols against ghouls when super modded up.

  • Need to rethink my strategy.

Use building to your advantage, the large size mean it can't go inside small spaces (like Deathclaws).

If you're battling one on the open plain, well, good luck.

  • Mega sniper to the face, never fails.

  • Why do I feel that Borderlands (or maybe 2) needs more people to play? I've looked at it before an been tempted, but it seems to all be about team play, rather than something I could just play on my own. Am I wrong?
